Small bar, but it's a small airport. Felt bad for the blonde bartender. it seemed she could use some help. I did notice her walk from behind the bar to get patron orders, but she passed me up more than once. I didn't make a big deal, but communication goes a long way. Was not sure if I had to walk up to the bar or just wait for her. I also noticed the alcohol pours were inconsistent... maybe get a metered pour or something. Or maybe just another staff member to give get her a break.

This waitress had to be the rudest person on the face of the planet. I get it. Everyone has a bad day.....but, I've flown into this airport 3 times now and she is always hateful! How someone who works in the service industry can have such a crappy attitude is beyond me! What is even sadder is that it is the ONLY restaurant in the airport, so you can't go anywhere else. I don't know who the owner is, but I would fire her immediately!

Fast food service, and friendly staff. Great bar front views of the runway, which means you can see your inbound flight when it lands!It's a super short walk to the gates, so you don't need to leave much time before boarding.You may notice the unconfirmed/inconsistent hours -- the reason for this is that the hours are based on the schedule of departing flights for the day.

One star because the food is actually good! It's pricey of course because it's inside an airport. The bartender looks miserable and rushes people . Mixed drinks weren't good at all. I wasn't even fully inside the place and the bartender was shouting at me "what can I get you "? Not very personable. It's your only choice for food and drink inside the airport.

This place is an absolute pathetic excuse of a bar/restaurant. The blonde haired lady behind the counter is extremely rude. Not just to me but everyone I watched her interact with.I was reluctant to leave a negative review because this is not my style. However, this is my third time at this airport, and she was rude every single time. I cannot imagine who is in charge of this place and allows her to work here.Whoever is responsible for her employment should be embarrassed. I will never come back to this place.Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.

The bartender is very unpleasant. I have flown through AVP multiple times (about 20 in the last 3 years) and the same lady is always bartending. Her attitude varies from kind of ok to raging jerk. I wonder how this can continue? I feel like if she would consider being nice to people she would get better tips. I can't imagine the bar's ownership read these reviews since multiple people have complained about the same issues but she still continues being rude.

Please pull out and let a happier service in. The bartenders are the worst I have ever delt with. Always complaining that they are busy, working, and complain when they receive a small tip. They reuse glasses and you feel you are bothering them. Too bad they are only busy at lunch and dinner time. They could not handle an all day crowd.

Why? Why did I just pay to experience the rudest customer service from this old, tired of life blonde bartender? You are better off getting an over priced snickers at the gift shop.
I've never had a more unpleasant customer service experience. The bartender literally rolled her eyes when my wife ordered a drink. She left the bar at one point for 15-20 mins. Before that she was the phone w/ what must have been her boss yelling/complaining about how busy she was (while not serving customers). After reading other reviews indicating the same problem, it's amazing she still works there.

Lucky's is the only bar/restaurant in the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Airport, so choices are limited.....lol.Pretty decent selection of beers. Typical Bar food. Drink service is good but food takes a while. The kitchen must be far away.Two hours of drinking before your flight is always a good thing......lol.

The aged blonde bartender is one of the rudest people I have ever met. And this is the second time I have dealt with her. I just figured she was having a bad day on the first go around. But, after today, I can see this is just her usual unbelievable snotty attitude. Her demeanor is like that of a old angry badger with a stick stuck way up its heinder. She will converse with you like she can’t stand the sight of you, and is hastily waiting for you to die. And, on top of it all, she made me a Long Island iced tea with not one drop of alcohol in it. Dropkicking her across the restaurant was definitely an option I considered.

I hate to do this, but I'm hoping owner can rectify if they actually read these reviews... Linda used to be so fun and bubbly, but over the last couple years she's made it a miserable experience to be at this bar. She always acts overwhelmed, regardless of the size of the crowd, and she always acts like she's already 2 hours past shift end. She's short with every guest, she's got an annoyed face at all times, she doesn't have any greeting, and she's always trying to get everyone to tab out way before flight time... Really unfortunate that this has been allowed for so long given the repeated reviews about this behavior... She used to be so awesome a few years ago, but something has happened and it makes AVP a miserable experience.
