When the bar is full, the place is tight and very hard to get around. Just not enough room.

Ordered the white sauce buffalo chicken pizza, Delicious! Tavern style ( bar ) pizza with a nice crisp, but not crunchy crust, and well seasoned. It's very much a bar that serves food, it does have tables and even outdoor seating. Located in the heart of downtown Pittston you should stop by and grab a pizza and a cocktail. ?. 10/10.

Our waiter was Kyle & he was very helpful & courteous. Myself & 4 of my buddies stopped in for a beer & a bite to eat. Kyle took very good care of us.Our food was so good. My cheesesteak was delicious & was served nice & hot. My fries were very hot & crispy. We did not have one complaint. Tomato Bar is a really nice place. We had a good time.

A small little bar and bistro this place is excellent for first dates or just hanging out with friends. The music was a little loud but overall thats to be expected of a bar nowadays. The food was excellent, crabcakes were good and the cheesesteak was delicious, and the quesadilla is highly recommended.

We had an awesome experience with good food and tremendous service. We were a table of 12 and never had to ask for service. And looking around it was managed very well, our servers name was Kyle who, seemed that he could run this place himself. Hats off to the staff and chef too.

You Need To Know? Arrived around 5:45 on a Friday night & got seated immediately. This environment was friendly & inviting. Service was quick. We ordered the chicken nachos, red garlic bites, meatball parm sub & a Mexican street corn flat bread. The Nachos were dry & just all right. The red garlic bites were very good & very strong, warding off vampires strong. Whew! The Flatbread was amazing, a different flavor explosion with every bite. Great place to hang out. Now You Know! -TBH

I went there with a friend to have dinner and was mildly disappointed. I ordered drunken clams as an appetizer and they were really very good but there were three out of the 15 that didn't open all the way and so I didn't eat them because the muscles that hold the shell together were never released. My friend brought this to the waiters attention and we received quite a rude response. Apparently the kitchen staff told them because the shells were cracked they were fine to eat. I really was being Pleasant about it and told them not to worry I would just take my second course no harm no foul. My second course was boneless bites and they really didn't deliver much value for the price. It is not the Tomato Bar I remember from years ago. Not a fan, not going back.

Worst customer service. They were racist and prejudice towards my family just because we are from the South. We said yes sir, no sir, yes ma'am, and no ma'am the entire time. My money is green no matter where we are. I do not recommend this bar or grill to anyone. I hope they close this bar down.

Chef has some very creative items on the menu. Love it, gives me a chance to try new things. They had sweet and spicy buffalo wing bites with black and white truffle oil. Being someone who loves truffle oil I wanted to give them a try. The chef did not disappoint. They were 'Beyond' out of this world ....you could really taste the Truffle oil when you bit into them. The menu claimed they were infused with it.That was the decision to rate these Wing bites as five star! The sweet and spicy buffalo sauce was tasty too. A bit different than the Ho hum everyday sauce many other places use. Tasted hand crafted. The garden salad was very large and fresh. A wonderful balsamic vinaigrette which we chose from the various dressings was served on the side. Our main dish was crab cakes 8 oz each two of them with a side of Old Bay seasoned fries. Both of us thought the fries were amazing. However we had different takes on the crab cakes. My partner likes standard crab cakes which these were not. They were lighter and had a smoky taste to them and were broiled. I found them quite intriguing. They were placed on a bed of sriracha mayonnaise. Be forewarned, this place does not carry tartar sauce or the standard red seafood sauce if that's what you look for. Forgot to take pictures of the glasses but they had a nice full fill on the wine and beer. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. Ample parking in the area. The help was pleasant but seem to be very strapped with the crowd indoors. Probably why the outside tables were not wiped as clean as they could be they had obvious drink rings and things left on them that is why they didn't get a five star for atmosphere or service . We sat downstairs outside which was nice. it would have been Pleasant if not for the hatch of gnats that were swarming the area and also invaded a very close by Church picnic. Obviously not the restaurants fault.... that we had to blame on Mother Nature.Parking: Lg number

Great bar, great patio…downtown pittston. We visited during tomato fest, which gives you a front seat view of the festival. The first floor patio and second floor deck offer comfortable outdoor seating. The pizza is very good and the clams are tasty. The bar features mixed drinks with plenty of other options including beer, seltzer, etc. This place is great to grab some tasty food and drinks and I would recommend it if you’re getting together with friends.

We went on their website to look at their menu and they had lots of great options. When we actually went to the Tomato Bar, the menu was very limited and missing half of the food that the menu on their website had. The burger I got was great but the lack of communication with their limited menu was disappointing. I'd definitely eat there again if they ever decide to update the menu.
