There are no garbage cans or picnic tables. I've never experienced an ice cream parlor so uncomfortable in my life. I guess you're supposed to take the ice cream to go, which is kind of hard with a large sundae

My wife ordered an ice cream cake Monday for a Friday pickup. The person took the order and said the manager would call us if she had any questions. My wife called back Thursday afternoon and confirmed the order and was told we could pick it up anytime Friday. Well I get there Friday and there is no cake. The “manager” informed me that if she did not talk with us personally there is no order. We the customer “ can’t expect her kids to take an order and get the message to her because this is their first job”. I’ve personally never been treated with such hostility from the moment the manager came to the window to tell me there is no cake. She also said that we should know that if we didn’t talk to her there is no order. Not sure how we were supposed to know that when we were told twice the cake would be ready Friday. It’s a shame because their ice cream is very good, but after the experience this morning we won’t be enjoying it anymore.

I contacted Handel’s to serve ice cream at my wedding and I am SO happy that I did. Andrea worked with me for several weeks to come up with the perfect menu for my guests. Not only was the ice cream amazing, but the service was impeccable. My husband and I did this instead of a traditional cake cutting and my guests are still raving about it. I absolutely love this place. Best ice cream in the area. I bought a cake for my mom (Caramel Apple) and it was out of this world. The staff is very quick to get back to you with ordering and I refuse to go anywhere else. The staff is top notch and goes above and beyond.

I've been to Handel's countless times and not once have I been disappointed!! From their regular flavors to their seasonal specials, every scoop is mouth watering!! I've been to at least 15 local ice cream shops in our area. Hands down the best chocolate chip cookie dough can be found at Handel's.
