Welcome to my next review. This is Torony's Giant Hot Dogs! Now this is not the original location. If you are from the area back in my youth, this being the late 70's and early 80's, they were located on the corner of route 315 and jumper road in Plains. Speaking with the owner today I was told when PennDOT widened Jumper Road they were forced to move. After that they relocated to a building on Main Street not too far from the arena. Now as the owner told me the second location just didn't work out, so they eventually moved to the current location. Now as per the video it's a nice size location, not too big or too small. As I walked in I did speak with the owner off camera and explained why I do food reviews and in my own way help supporting the locals. Now as per the footlongs, I got one with just mustard and onions, and the other with everything being the mustard, onions, and the sauce. Now for the dogs, I didn't taste a snap, but these were grilled nicely, you got a good number of toppings, the chili had a unique taste, different from all the others. Now they do offer fries and burgers and other items but today it's all about the dogs. When we go Hot Doggin' we don't rate the hot dog we celebrate the hot dog with those awesome condiments. Have not been here in ages, I had two footlongs one with mustard and onion and the second with everything being mustard onions and sauce. The dogs are a good bun to dog ratio, I didn't taste a snap but it was a very delicious tasting dog. Now the sauce to me tasted very unique. Nothing comparable to the dogs I had in the past. It was very tasty as well. Now their hours are Wednesday thru Saturday 12-6. Definitely recommend!

We have loved Torony’s ever since they were a tiny little hot dog stand by the side of the road in Plains! Their chili sauce recipe has remained the same for all these years and they sell the best foot long hot dogs in the area! My husband and I get the hot dogs and fries and the portions are generous. The fries remind me of the kind we used to get at amusement parks in the paper cone with salt and vinegar. Delicious and not “fancied up” with seasonings. If you want some good old fashioned hot dogs and fries, this is the place to go! They have other menu items as well but to be honest I’ve never tried anything other than the hot dogs!
