Always a wonderful meal. We shared a Piandini, the Mozzarella and tomato. I truly enjoyed the pasta special- farfale with mushrooms, garlic and EVOO. My guest enjoyed the Tortellini tomato soup.

They have an impressive menu, but while we had nothing to complain about, the food wasn't memorable or something to tell people to come back to. The pescatore badly needed garlic--some garlic, any garlic...the Caprese used a balsamic glaze which made it look pretty but not the same as a balsamic vinegar. the four complementary bruschetas were excellent but the bread was thick and too dry. It was a solid Italian restaurant but given the price to quality a bit overpriced. However, it was nice a quiet and made it easy to talk with our friends.

While we always enjoyed dining at Arugula in the past, our dining experience here this time was sub par. We arrived at 5:15 & there were only 2 other tables of patrons at that time. Despite this, it took 30 minutes for a server to come to our table to take our order. The food prep took even longer. When it did arrive, our entrees were ice cold, making us realize it had been sitting out for quite some time. We flagged down a bus boy & asked to have our meals reheated. Once returned, my husband's bronzino which was originally prepared whole & then filleted was no longer moist. My veal was tough & still just luke warm. We noticed that as the restaurant began filling up, there was still only one waiter for the entire restaurant. We imagine they were short staffed in the kitchen, as well based on how long it took to prep the food. Perhaps this was a cost cutting measure for the restaurant but it completely put a damper on our usually positive dining experience. Very disappointing!

We had a great dinner. Our server was great and the food was outstanding. Love that it is a BYOB as we brought a nice bottle of wine and did t have to pay the 3x markup. Will absolutely be going back.

Always the “best” local dining for us! Delicious food choices with accommodating chef, friendly and caring wait staff, and always seemingly well cleaned with the glassware always spotless. It can get noisy when several tables are filled with women, all drinking wine and talking over each other, but, hey, we still love it!

We had another great meal Arugula last night. The special salad, Victoria flatbread, lamb chops and swordfish were all excellent. Desserts were great as well. Arugula consistently delivers fantastic dining experiences. We highly recommend Arugula for any occasion.

Lovely little BYOB in a small shopping center near the turnpike. One of the best restaurants left standing post-Covid. Not a lot of soft surfaces to absorb noise if there is a loud table near you (as was our case), but typically not a boisterous place. Nice, appetizer and salad choices that are not your typical Italian fare, but there are traditional choices. A solid choice to recommend to people for dinner.

Why is your online menu not up to date with pricing? It wasn’t the same, at all. There was even a discrepancy on the physical menu with an item - once I received the bill it was more. We drove far to try your restaurant and that was a bit of a turnoff within the first minute of sitting down. The little disclaimer at the bottom of your website saying “prices are subject to change” doesn’t work for me, nor did I even see that disclaimer until I came home and reviewed the menu again (not something people should have to be doing before or after a nice night out for dinner). Our bill came to an additional $15 from what we thought it would be. While I understand that’s not the end of the world, I just don’t understand why some restaurants can’t just update their website with pricing. It’s misleading and whether you mean it or not, feels scammy. On a more positive note, your food and service was good - I just don’t like these kinds of first impressions so I don’t know if I’ll be returning. These things stick with me, unfortunately.

The wait between appetizers and dinner entre was extremely long. Also, the waitress may have been overworked because tea was ordered when drinks were but had to be reminded after appetizers was served and had to ask about the reason for the long wait for the dinner plate. After being reminded nothing happened until someone else came to ask if we were done with the appetizer and salad plates (which they did more times than I could count). Have been to Arugula many times and will probably return however this time around service was different.

Arugula is our go to local dining spot. It is always consistent; fresh food, good value, great staff, and friendly atmosphere. We've asked for menu preparation changes many times and have always been met with a smile and “No problem”; our request has be filled to perfection! Last evening was no exception; the special salad and the entree were both delicious.

Good food, kind of smallish portions for the price [$180 for family of five]. Service was friendly, but intermittent - odd considering the size of the restaurant. It felt a little noisy during my family's 615pm reservation and it was difficult to hear the staff who interacted with us. Our experience was negatively affected by a penalty I was assessed for using a credit card to pay for our dinner. What a stupid decision by ownership. What's next - a napkin fee??

It was ok. The bread was stale, the cheese on the Charcuterie was rock hard like it was sitting out. I had the Penne Sofia, that I did not care for. Could have just been not my liking, but I didn't care for it. Maybe I will give it another shot, but I don't know.
