Dave & Buster's Plymouth Meeting

The food wasn’t bad, nothing was wrong with it and the service was ok too! Also, this location needs to add more claw machines, there are barely any and they are hard to win from. Imagine trying many times to win a prize and you just can’t get it, do you know how frustrating that can be? Claw machines are just better for this location, it’s filled with a good variety of different games but only about 2-3 claw machines. If possible I’d love it if you guys could get more claw machines that shouldn’t take over 4-5 attempts to win from. Overall, you guys are better than all the other arcade locations I’ve been at.

Edit: I also need to add that you guys need to restock your guys claw machines, I see many prizes in the claw with a display plushy I like but its not winnable since its on display.

Tvs broken not playing games. Food was bleh and service was way understaffed even though there was only 3-4 groups eating. Half the games were broken. Shame these places used to be amazing but definitely not putting any money into these anymore slowly letting them die off it appears.

VERY EXPENSIVE HERE😕😕😕😕FOR MYSELF AND 3 KIDS ALMOST CLOSE TO 300 WITH GAMES AND FOOD WISH YOU GUYS WOULD CREATE BETTER FOOD AND GAME PACKAGES FOR 3 OR MORE PEOPLE!!!!! PLEASE CONSIDER ASAP HOPE TO SEE A CHANGE???🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

This would have been 1-star except the boneless wings and salad were good. Service was horrible and confused. After seating we ordered drinks and some appetizers. The first few drinks came rather quickly but the order was wrong. After fifteen minutes the fries showed up, no chips and queso or the two beers. The beers came next and I asked about the other appetizer. That came out five minutes later with an explanation the kitchen had to make more chips. The chips were cold and greasy and the queso had a skin on top from being cold. We were given replacement chips which were barely warm and still dripping with oil. The guacamole on the fries had nearly as much onion as avocado. A second beer ordered with a meal didn’t show up. It also took over 15 minutes to check out because a manager wasn’t available to fix all the errors. I might visit Dave and Busters again, but definitely not this location.

to say the restaurant should be shut down is an understatement. wow. stunningly incompetent staff. sat 35 minutes past our reservation. dude up front said “i’m not taking care of them” until he was forced to. we’re sat, waited 25 minutes for a waitress. everyone’s drinks were all brought out separately, food was brought out separately from everyone else’s, i got my meal 15 minutes before my friend at the table did then another 20 minutes passes and another meal came out for my other friend, had to find the waitress for our bill. and the best part? they add the tip automatically onto the bill😂 that’s why they don’t care. they’re getting a tip either way. shockingly incompetent staff, i never write reviews either but wow, just abysmal service. almost felt like it was done on purpose. oh and it goes on.. we went downstairs to play games so we said let’s get a drink at the bar before we start playing.. the bald guy behind the bar blatantly was looking at us, ignoring us while we’re trying to flag him down and ready for this? another couple walks up and knows him so they call him over and he serves them right away while we’re continuing to try to get his attention. there were maybe 7 people at the bar total who had drinks. i’ve never seen such blatant incompetence at any establishment i’ve ever been to. we were almost laughing, just a joke. we were celebrating a birthday too and to have an experience like this while they knew we were celebrating was either done or purpose or incompetence at its finest. to say we won’t be returning is just a given.

update: my friend & I both got sick from our meals. we were up all night in the bathroom. we just checked on our others who were with us to see if they got sick as well.

Service is bad. Never got anything to eat. They sat us but no one came and to take our order. 40 minutes of wait time.

Our church had a meeting there. We had a private room, which was good. After the meeting, we went to the game room. It was crowded and running over with children. We need a special day for seniors like we used to have. Location was good and the staff very helpful. Breakfast was good.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of games. Plenty of kids, they seemed to really enjoy themselves.

We will continue going back for the games, but we are officially done giving the restaurant the benefit of the doubt over and over again. I am not exaggerating when I say that literally every time we have ever eaten there, the service has been horrible. It’s seriously some of the worst service we’ve ever received. Tonight was no different. The restaurant was barely 1/4 full and we were asked if we had a reservation. Maybe that’s a standard question, but it seems odd. On top of that, there were over 10 employees working, including multiple managers, but the service was still slow. Every single server we’ve ever had has been miserable. My husband never got the soda he ordered and we were never given silverware or napkins. We were halfway done our meal and I had to stop our server as she passed by us to ask for some napkins. We were given a stack of cocktail napkins from the bar. We were never given or offered refills. After we were done, it took about 15 minutes to pay the bill. It looked like they were reorganizing the bar because the manager kept taking pictures of the bar on his phone. The food was also just okay. We keep trying to give it another shot, but it never changes. Don’t waste your time or money and just go to one of the other restaurants close by instead.
