We always enjoy our visits to Plaza Alteca! Food has always been amazing and service excellent. Whether we are having the full meal (appetizers, entree and dessert) or just an appetizer and dessert, the servers have been attentive and caring. Can't wait to go back again.

We went for my birthday on a Sunday early evening, no reservations & only had a less than 10 min wait. The wait staff was attentive. We were surprised by a Mariachi band that was entertaining. They walked around and offered songs to all the tables. The food & drinks were good. We ordered Chimicangas, Burritos, nachos, plantains & corn. The prices were reasonable. My favorite part is when the Mariachi band came back later to sing happy birthday. This was a fun family experience.

We arrived and had an hour wait for a table which in this day and age is not unusual. But after being seated, it was another hour to get our order taken, as if they forgot about us. When the food started to arrive, it was cold, and it had to be sent back twice. So if a great place to go if you have a lot of time on your hands. Great food, though.

Birria Tacos - These are absolutely delicious but it's extremely greasy. So you're definitely going to earn a pimple or 2 if you typically eat clean.Enchiladas El Jefe - These were pretty good too. The meat is so flavourful but it's a bit over-hyped. The burritos are way better.RIB-EYE TACOS - These were probably the best out of the 3. It was the cleanest and most enjoyable one for me. The others were too heavy or too greasy.

Great service. Our waitress was phenomenal, she was super attentive and courteous. Our food and drinks came out quickly even though it was a pretty busy time of the day. The food was great, I mean the birria tacos and consome had so much flavor and we ate the choriqueso so fast I didn't even get a picture. The margaritas were really good and they're not as expensive as other places. The restaurant itself was super cute, nicely decorated, and clean. The day we went they had mariachi playing and it was a nice added touch to the whole experience
Food was amazing and I would know because I eat alot of Mexican food!!! Drinks are literally the strongest I've ever had at a restaurant. Can't wait to go back

Came for dinner on a Sunday around 7pm and the place was busy! We scored seats at the bar right away and decided to stay there. The food and drinks were all great per usual and the bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita is my favorite, decided to try a new dish and went with the Laredo (under steaks) as I am gluten-free and it was delicious, it's now my new favorite go to ? it was worth the price as the plate was full with grilled steak, chicken, shrimp, and veggies accompanied by their delicious rice (I 86'd the beans) and comes with tortillas- they subbed corn tortillas for me, I was pleasantly surprised by the dish! Husband's combo platter hit the spot, it was a great dining experience as always.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of Gluten Free items on the menuWheelchair accessibility: This is wheelchair accessible
