Port Clinton Hotel is a restaurant known for its large portions of food, especially its sandwiches, burgers, and hotel basket of french fries, which are quite popular among guests. While the food quality can vary, some dishes like clam strips and the "rib eye" steak may not always meet expectations. However, the cocktails, chopped sirloin, flounder stuffed with crab meat, and lobster bisque have received many positive reviews. The restaurant is a clean, simple place that offers a laid-back and fun atmosphere, making it a good spot for a casual night out. The service is friendly and attentive, with the staff praised for their excellent service even during busy times. Many guests appreciate the reasonable prices and enjoy the taste and quality of the food, particularly when paired with their cotton sauce, which complements cheesesteaks and fries. The restaurant has a cozy dining area filled with neat pictures of local history, adding to its charm. Parking may be challenging during peak times, but overall, it remains a popular choice for a satisfying meal with nice people.
