Port Clinton Hotel

Horrible!!! We waited and waited and waited for our food. It took forever for a club sandwich and a burger. Whe we looked in the kitchen the cook was leaning over the counter on his phone not doing anything. Then when we were about to eat a different server came over to our table and told us we had to move. She said she needed our table to seat a larger party. Then they put us in the center of the room where the whole floor shook and the table wobbled every time someone walked near us. Our server basically was screaming at us when she asked about drinks and what we wanted to order. The place needs a major remodel and the soda tastes like moldy water. The fries looked and tased like they were overcooked or recooked. This place used to be awesome but we won’t be going back.

Cool old country bar and grill. The waitress was friendly and attentive, but not intrusive.

Food was great and plenty is served. I really appreciate the owner standing up for his patrons and telling the bikers to go down the road if they were trying to sit together. Seemed like they weren't happy but hey way to stick to your guns. Unfortunately I love my freedom so thank you for the food. I didn't like the situation but I know the how the town can be.

My wife and I were there tonight for dinner. Everyone tells us about how good the food is, so we tried it. Well it was a little busy so we sat at the bar. First of all the bartender gave our food to other people that came in after us. She did apologize and gave me a free beer. But then she asked my wife if she wanted a box and I was still eating my cheesesteak and then she proceeded to take away the fries without asking if we were done or not. The cheesesteak was ok but certainly not one of the best I every ate. It did not have enough sauce on it and you could not pick it up because it was soggy on the bottom. So to sum it up we will probably not go back. Sorry but do better.

This is the first restaurant my daughter ever sat in a high chair! Our server was amazing and sweet! We live an hour away and I will return just because of her. Didn't catch her name but sporty looking woman with hi-lighted short hair -- 100/10.

Tonight I went up to the Port Clinton Hotel for some dinner with family, and I had their broiled salmon, blackened of course, fries, and it was an absolutely excellent meal, the service was great got to see some fimilar local faces happily working there. The place not only has a bar area you can go to, but a very cozy home like dining area with some neat pictures of local history. Overall I had a very pleasant experience and I'll definitely be going again.
