“We ordered the most beautiful and delicious cake for our son’s baptism! The cake was absolutely delicious and there wasn’t a slice left! We never have an entire cake go at a party. The fresh strawberry filling was amazing! The price is very affordable! We would recommend Carols to everyone.”

“We had a wonderful time at the Pierogi Festival! There were a few issues, but that is not surprising when an event garners more attention than expected for an area. We were surprised by the massive turnout, but so were the employees! It was wonderful to see so many people supporting a local business though. The homemade pierogis were amazing! Pierogis are not something that can be made in the moment. While they were constantly being cooked and brought out, preparing the thousands of pierogis took weeks, if not months, of preparation. The demand did put a lot of unexpected pressure on the employees. However, I don’t believe anyone could have anticipated how major of an event this turned out to become! This will not deter us from attending next year or any other events. I’m confident this was a learning experience for the business. I anticipate next year to be even bigger and better! Please continue to support this business in the future!”

“Amazing food! I Was in today for my first time I ordered the triple play panini which I don’t normally do reviews but I definitely think this sandwich deserves one, stack high with meat and peppers and a home made balsamic vinaigrette. It was absolutely delicious!! I got it with a side of their house made chips which I was very impressed with the seasoning and being so crispy! I also tried mango lemonade very good not to sweet it was perfect overall. I will definitely be back friendly service great prices and amazing food! Good luck to this little business. “A couple of nights ago I was at the restaurant with two other people. Wonderful ambience , exceptional service. I am only giving this one negative comment so that someone would be aware that the kitchen staff needs to be educated to make the dishes match what the menu states. We had an appetizer and each of us ordered a different meal. The others meals were excellent and perfectly done. I ordered the stuffed sweet potato with a special topping and crispy shallots. The skin on the bottom of the baked sweet potato was burned. No big deal I could scrape the potato away from that. The shallots, however, were not even close to crispy. They were soggy, limp and bitter. I was disappointed but did not want to make a fuss In front of my friends. We had tasty cocktails and I repeat excellent service. I will be back and will recommend the Tavern to friends.”

“I stopped in at Lena's the other day with a friend and her service dog. Upon entering we were told that no service dogs are aloud due to people having allergies. We went back out to the car feeling frustrated and upset. I went back in and said " I don't believe you are allowed to refuse us service due to having a service dog". Her reply was she was a private business owner and she could refuse anyone she choose to. I would not recommend Lena's due to the disregard for service animal laws..”

“I came for dinner last night! couldn't decide what I wanted so I ordered 2 meals!! Both were delicious!! my server was very sweet and helpful, it was my first visit! it was the owners niece! she recommended the sticky bread pudding for a dessert, which I took to go!! I enjoyed it in my pj's a few hours later! I drove 30 mins to get here and I'll definitely be back soon to try more dishes!! thank you for an enjoyable experience!!”

“I really love two fat guys and an oven! My favorite has to be the cheese fruit danish and more recently the Dubai chocolate pistachio brownie! It looks a little weird but it taste amazing! My mother really likes their strawberry pie too! I think the prices are reasonable, the staff are friendly, and they have so many good deserts! I’d recommend if you’re looking for a good bakery!”

“I’ve had scottos since they were in the mall when I was a child! Their food is amazing and brings me back to my childhood. My husband and I now take trips to the restaurant (we live almost 40 mins away) to have it every now and then. So worth it!”

“I remember when they were in the Kmart mall in Meadville. We happened to be in Sharon today and when I made the connection, I knew we had to stop! It’s exactly like I remembered it. Pizza by the slice in every combination you could think of and absolutely delicious. She even pointed out the signage from their Meadville spot and joked about still having a freezer from Montgomery Wards. I’m so happy we stopped and we will be back.”

“We've tried everything, and everything is absolutely delicious. So there's that. We usually get takeout when we order from Pizza Man's Pizza. And what's even more important (to me) than the great food is that they actually know HOW to wrap takeout properly. They line everything with paper and then foil to prevent the hot food from melting into the Styrofoam container. (Eating food that melted through Styrofoam is a health hazard.) So A+++ to Pizza Man's Pizza for fantastic food, the intelligence to wrap it correctly, AND for the wonderful staff. Everyone is always so nice and friendly. Side note: Try the wings. They're a slice of heaven.”

I’ve tried many Middle Eastern places in the area, but this one truly stands out! The lamb is perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of spice—even mild enough for my dog to enjoy.
