My wife and I stopped here for lunch. We were seated immediately. We both got wraps (one chicken and one turkey) and let me tell you, they arrived to the table warm and were quite delicious. Our waitress, Wren, was smiling and very pleasant and kept my coffee cup filled. A very positive experience for us in an unfamiliar restaurant. And kudos again to Wren.
This place was okay. The first time I went there, barely anyone eating took 40 minutes to get our food. Hot dog was cold to the touch when it came out my son wouldn't touch it. Probably won't be going back.
The food here is great. I believe Gimmicks is the only restruant in punxsutawney that has all day breakfast. Their menu is fantastic with a wide variety. I've tried many different meals here, the chicken and broccoli alfredo has to be my favorite. This place has a nice atmosphere with plenty of seating. The service is good, the waitresses are nice. However it takes a solid 25-45 minutes to get your food. That is why gimmicks is getting 4/5 stars.
