Passing through on our way to Cleveland we stopped off in town and decided on this restaurant. It was pretty full with what seemed like mostly locals which is a good thing, it’s not just a tourist trap. The waitress was very helpful and pleasant, locals seemed very nice. The prices were very good. I was going to buy a coffee mug from the display case, but there was no price listed so I didn’t bother. I ordered the chicken Parmesan meal, and being from NJ. This wouldn’t fly...
The food was good, their coffee was decent, but it was very busy. If you have more than 3 people in your party you might have to wait for a table. The bathrooms are on your left as you enter the restaurant.

I visited the beautiful city of Punxsutawney, PA over the weekend. I was a little hungry and was told this is the place all the locals go. So, off to Punxy Phil’s Family Restaurant I went hoping for a good, down home meal. It was easy to find & easy to park, big ol’ parking for sure.
