A friend and I stopped here after the Renaissance Faire to have dinner. We showed up at 8:22pm when they had a closing time of 9pm (yes, I hate to admit it but we were those guys).
That however did not stop us from receiving great service and an enjoyable meal.
We started off with cheese curds, which were perfectly fried and the marinara was tasty.
I had the chili for appetizer number 2, while my friend had the Maryland crab soup. He stated his soup was awesome, and my chili was very good as well. It had some kick, which if youre not a fan of spicy probably would not have cared for. I also detected a smoke flavoring (not artificial but perhaps smoked meat?).
The fish and chips were done to perfection, came out hot and had i not filled up on their delicious homebrewed tea, I would have finished (the appetizers may have had a play in it as well).
My friend had the skillet steak, stating it too was delicious.
While on the phone with my wife, I told her where I had dinner and she stated she liked the place a lot as well (I had no idea previously that she had been here before).
I'll be back and with my wife and child next time, most likely after a PRF, though we will show a little earlier.
Thank you for making the visit a pleasant one despite our showing just 38 minutes before closing.

I wish the food was as good as the service!! We had the most delightful waitress, AJ and the host, a young man, her son, was also so helpful.
I had the taco salad with chili and it was 99.9% beans and lettuce. No flavor.
The chips were ok, stale-ish.
The ice tea was cloudy so I'm guessing it was instant.
A new chili recipe and fresh brewed ice tea would make this spot a 5 out of 5.
The landscaping was gorgeous!
Oh and maybe someone could check on the restrooms... they could use a freshen up in style and design. Better than a port-o-potty is all I can say.
