The bartender on Monday night was extremely rude, inefficient and was clearly more worried about getting the bar shut down and I arrived at 8:20pm. She was a smaller thin girl with tattoos on her neck but I have no name as my receipt had “take out” as the name. But wow she was absolutely awful and I learned my lesson today about coming in on Monday.
Dined this past weekend for my father’s birthday. Our server, Brie was wonderful. We were seated promptly for our reservation and the ambiance was lovely. The restaurant was clean and everything from appetizers to entrees and dessert was delicious. We had Mac and cheese balls, salad, steak, crab cakes, ribs crab dip and cheesecake. We ate every bite! The staff even brought us out cake with a candle for my dad’s birthday and he was tickled.

Our party of seven had reservations at the saloon. Our table was basically right inside the door. It was my first time in the saloon. Our server was Ashley. She was an excellent server. Very positive a can do attitude. Our table had ordered appetizers. My favorite was the Ruben rolls. My platter was the 12 oz ribeye with mashed potatoes with gravy on the side. Broccoli 🥦. The portions size were large. And beverage was a Pepsi. My platter was top notch. Steak prepared to my liking medium to well. Broccoli was warmed but still crunchy. Just the way I like my vegetables. The masked potatoes had to be real potatoes 🥔. My only negative about the meal. Was when the entrance door was open a blast of cold air would rush in. B UT worse yet was the strong odor of cigarette smoke came in from individuals standing right outside the entrance doors. The rest of the evening was top notch. I wish I could give more than only five stars on my review. And my only suggestion is to move the outside smoking area away from the front door. Thank you for a really
Nice dinner and evening with my family.

Held our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner here . . .the bone-in pork chop is BY FAR the best pork chop I have ever eaten . . .and I can't wait to get back there from Indiana (and we know pork) to taste it again.

We decided to go to our local fav- The First Post but they had a 2 hr wait and we didn’t want to wait so we left. On the way out a very nice gentleman recommended Great American Saloon, he said that the owners were the same and the food was amazing and he was headed there too bc he didn’t want to be on the 2hr wait list at First Post. Both me and my husband were like well if the owners are the same the food will probably be the same too and decided to try this place!
I first off have to praise our hostess- Ariyanna! She was absolutely fantastic. Like true definition of a perfect host! She kept checking on us, super friendly, attentive to detail, made great recommendations! She was amazing.
As for food- spot on.
Dinner rolls amazing.
Reuben Roll- amazing, like if they made this into a sandwich I’d probably order one every week. Get this.
Cream of crab soup- I was initially hesitant but Ari was like there’s tons of crab in it and she was definitely not kidding. Chunks of crabs in the small cup of soup. It was so flavorful, definitely a winter fall soup. MUST try. Definitely getting this again next time.
American Burger- was very good! Get the saloon sauce on the side if you’re not a big sauce person, glad Ari recommended that bc the sauce was a bit overwhelming. It’s like a thousand island sauce. Other than that great classic burger.
Gnocchi Carbonara- I’m not a big gnocchi person but my husband loved it. I personally loved the chicken and shrimp. It was seasoned so perfectly. If you like gnocchi get it this!
Then we got a steak with a side of mashed potatoes and baked beans. Average steak.
If you are a fan of the First Post you’ll love this place. I think the menu here might have more things but some of the items are the same as the First Post. Definitely same quality of food and similar atmosphere.
Definitely recommend this place to others! I will definitely go back. And would like to thank the gentleman who told us about this hidden gem! And thank you Ari for being such a great host! :)

My boyfriend and I go regularly for happy hour on Friday and Saturday nights, and we love it! Beer and cocktails are super cheap during happy hour, and we always get amazing half off apps. Their drink and food menu are very strong, and their staff are incredible and very friendly.
