Kid-friendliness: They are mostly young adults that work there. Nothing for the kids to play. But kids will be excited for the ice cream. Best ice cream I ever had.
Wheelchair accessibility: No issues that I could with person with wheelchair getting in or back out. The women bathroom does have a step up on to get to the toilet. That probably be the only issues if the person can't walk at all.

Stopped in for lunch on our trip to Gettysburg. We wanted to support a local "fast" food joint instead of a typical fast food joint. Burgers were good, fries were gross though, no salt and you don't get many at all. It set us back a bit for our trip waiting though because there was only one girl working the whole place (she was working hard, so I don't blame her but they need another person there) and a lot of people started stopping in. She forgot our hot dog and the slushy machine wasn't working, so they refunded us for that and we had to go back in for my son's hot dog. Not sure if stop in there again, if we ever were going through again. Just posting a review for anyone else passing through.

First time I have been back to the Royal Drive In in about 30 years. Use to go here alot in my childhood with my Dad. Place has that nostalgic look. Food was great, prices even better. Service was excellent. CASH ONLY though. I had to find an ATM downtown Ridgway.

Excellent customer service the whole time and the food was good. Love the option of soft serve or hard scooped ice cream too :)
