I went in for the first time on December 6th around 1pm, I’ve wanted to come here for a while and was excited to go in because it was a treat for my birthday to myself. The aesthetic and food was good but not so much the staff. There was no one else in there so i asked the girl at the front what kind of breakfast sandwiches did they have, she just looked at me and silently pointed to the menu behind her… I said ok read it and ordered. Before the other staff member pulled the food out to make it I did ask to change my order and she just looked at me kind of annoyed from my perspective and again same as the other staff member did not say anything and just continued. Personally I work in customer service and I know some days are harder than others but I was the only one in there and expected way better treatment than that. Overall I did like the food though, but I wouldn’t want another interaction like that especially spending my own money so I probably wouldn’t return.

Came here with my husband because we love to find new bakeries/pastry shops due to our love of sweets. Everything in the case looked delicious. We chose the black forest cake, the limoncello tiramisu, limoncello cake, and the passion fruit cake. Unfortunately, I was only impressed with the black forest and the passion fruit cake. The limoncello cake slice and tiramisu had a sour taste to it. As if the cream was bad. I don't know if they use a different type of cream, maybe creme fraiche? But for me it was giving a sour taste. The black forest was great and the passion fruit filling was amazing. I have a very sensitive palate to sour flavors so if the issue is creme fraiche vs heavy cream, that's the difference. And sour isn't my personal choice in desserts. Great atmosphere and service. I plan on returning and trying other pastries sans cream.

Great European style coffee house. Breakfast sandwiches and pastries are delicious.

Wheelchair accessibility: It is not wheelchair accessible. There are one or two steps to get in. No ramp available.

The atmosphere is very nice and very clean. OMG, people behind the counter are not nice at all. The customer service is horrible. No greeting when you come in and barely want to help you at all. Spending money in this establishment with rude staff is not cool. Improvement on the customer service and be friendly not just shove your product in a box and no thank you!

A friend of mine did buy 5 pieces of cake and yes they all tasted alike. You lied and said you do not have pistachio ricotta cake slices last week and you did. Not nice to call customers liars and frauds. This place is a fraud. Your cake is not fresh at all and your staff is rude as heck. Plus your staff is racist. Just because someone comes in your store with a do rag you do not treat them different. Racism is no longer accepted.

Reading the other reviews my experience makes sense they aren’t nice folks. Don’t know if it was me wearing a du rag or what. But I walked in upon open, and received no greeting. Had to greet them. Asked about their shop got a cold short response to “just pick what I want”. Then my coffee was served to me with $1 up charge on shots that weren’t mixed in. Even exclaimed I wanted to do an order for my employees who I was gonna gift pastries too and got no response as if I was speaking foreign. All in all nice shop, but the people running it clearly don’t provide a decent customer experience. Especially if you’re a minority at 7:30 am in their presence. What cold unfriendly service to start my morning.

I highly recommend it!
I found this place by "accident" and let me tell you, if you are in the area you don't wanna miss it! They have a really nice ambiance, delicious Croissants, and good coffee! The place is small, but really nice and cozy. Will definitively go back if I am ever in Philly again.

Innessa was so nice and helpful! Great experience. Not to be dramatic, but that was the best matcha pistachio honey cake I've ever tasted. The caprese croissant sandwich is also worth a try. So delicious.

The girls at the counter are great, the sweets and sandwiches and drinks are tasty, good prices, the only thing is bigger tables for groups and kids. Otherwise very elegant and comfy.
