Rosemary is an absolute gem in the heart of Ridley Park. The food and drink menu is fantastic, the atmosphere is always welcoming, and the staff goes above and beyond. Paige is an amazing bartender who makes everyone feel right at home, and Phil, the owner, really knows the business and is such a big part of the community. It’s the perfect spot to get that city-style dining experience right here in our hometown.

Had a rare date night tonight with my husband (we have a 3 year old at home) and everything was great from beginning to end! Our server Jess P was great! We could not have been happier with the decision to dine at Rosemary! Can’t wait to head back again!

My absolute favorite restaurant in Delco.
I miss the pistachio dessert so much!
The beet salad
Meatballs
Pork Chop with Peach and Arugala
Can’t say enough about these great meals.
Love that they not only use but also promote other local businesses as well

Tried for the first time. The pros: nice decor and nice people. The cons: requested the greenhouse as the rest of the restaurant was quite loud. Was seated at a table with an extremely wobbly table top. Tried the tasting menu being offered but was told the entree selections on the menu were incorrect. Decided to try anyway. Ordered the wedge salad, roasted chicken and chocolate cake. The salad was huge and just ok, the entree was small compared to the salad and the chicken was bland. I took the cake home to eat later and it was dry. The entrees also took awhile to arrive. It was an expensive dinner and definitely not worth the price. I had high expectations based on other reviews but was very disappointed. Unfortunately I do not recommend and will not return.

Really love this little spot. A nice place for a quick happy hour with friends. Atmosphere is open and inviting, not too crowded?

This is a lively, welcoming Italian bistro with great food and friendly service. Our server Sara was terrific. They make the most amazing focaccia -very light and flavorful. Their prices are reasonable for the type of place it is and the quality of food served. If you’re heading in or out of PHL, this is a good place not too far from the airport on a nice little street.

It quite literally pains me to be writing this review since this area is in desperate need of good quality restaurants trying to do exactly what I assume rosemary is trying to do, be a local eatery focused on good quality food with a more ā€œupscaleā€ vibe.

Without wasting everyone’s time who bothers to read these reviews I’ll get to my gripe first;

The service was profoundly slow. We spent a total of 87 minutes there on a Saturday at 1700 for two pasta dishes, a salad, and some bread. Our server only checked on us 3 times, once to take our drink order, 26 minutes later to bring our drinks over and take our food order, and finally to bring our check since another person brought our food out.

Not only is the wait staff abysmally slow but the food is also embarrassingly slow to come out. These are not complicated dishes, it was early evening, and there was plenty of front of house staff around. I simply don’t understand the significant delay in service, and attention to guests.

On a positive note, the food was honestly delicious, painfully so, since I refuse to even waste an evening dealing with their slow service again.

If this how they treat their guests when they’re not busy, I cannot imagine what it would be like when the place is packed. Then again, with this level of service, maybe they just don’t get busy.

The place had a very positive vibe. Very modern and comfortable. The food was good but the quantity was quite lacking. We left about as hungry as we entered.

The best restaurant in the area!

This place is cute, it has a lot of potential to be really great but for now it’s just decent. Went to celebrate a birthday, as it is close by & saves the hassle of driving in the city. Made a reservation on Resy, specifically for the greenhouse, wanted the nice ambiance, got there and they sat us inside (wanted to give us a high top but I stated I wanted a regular table). I pointed out the reservation was for the greenhouse, she mentioned we could wait 10-15 min if we wanted.

Food:
The salmon was perfect and by far my favorite dish on the menu. Perfectly cooked, tender but also crispy skin. The cucumber celery citrus salad is fantastic also!

Rigatoni was also nice. Flavorful, burrata is a nice touch.

Butchers pizza was ok at best. Very salty, like very very salty and I enjoy lots of salt and seasonings. Also way too thick and way too crispy, almost hard. It was tough to bite into it. Maybe it was a one off thing but overall we were not fans of it.

Burger was also just ok. My partner asked for medium, came out med rare. Fine, we like a little redness but in burgers we prefer medium. Also the truffle fries, it’s ā€œtruffleā€ oil, you cannot taste the truffle at all, there’s no truffle shavings or anything of the sort. I wouldn’t order the burger and truffle fries again honestly.

Dessert: blueberry lemon cake was very tasty. We loved it! Presentation could be a bit nicer but flavor wise it is delicious!

Drinks: margaritas had no rim, flavor wise they tasted nice. Could use a nice touch of a spicy rim especially for the spicy peach margarita.

Server: she was very sweet, did provide a lot of info. I wish she would have checked on us a little more, a couple times we were looking around for someone’s attention and ended up asking someone else. But overall we were happy with her. It was a weekend night so she was probably very busy.

One thing that could be improved is flow of service. Our server did give us a heads up that things may come out separately, we were ok with that but we didn’t realize how long in between each dish it would take. For ex: we ordered the pizza as an appetizer, she mentioned it may come out with the food and we said that’s fine. But it turns out all the dishes just kept coming one at a time. First the burger, then the salmon, then the pasta and pizza. By that time the person eating the burger was almost done. The pizza came out last instead of an appetizer. We assumed she meant that the pizza would come with everything else, all at once not randomly scattered throughout.

Overall, I’d give it a 7/10. The place is nice, it has potential for improvement however. But it is definitely nice to have a cute spot in Delco as the area lacks in nice restaurants. I would definitely return and hope they keep tweaking things and continue to try to improve!
