Went here on a whim and the food was delicious and the service was great. Portions were generous for a reasonable price. The menu was pretty extensive for a diner.

I like my first experience but not the second. I even invited my family with me. Whomever cooked the steak did it wrong 2x. Steak is expensive. So I was quite disappointed in that and the waitress forgot my girlfriend's coffee 3x. It was disappointing. Very. Also she forgot her mozzarella sticks. I hope to be able to go again. I really like it when I was there before.

Maybe it's just me but it was terrible. The comments are the reason I decided to eat here. I ordered one pancake. I waited a half hour to get it. It was cold. The butter didn't even melt. The coffee wasn't hot and I was never asked if I wanted more to warm up the cup like most restaurants do. Less then zero.

The food was good! The coffee unfortunately was not. It is open 24 hours which is awesome! We were able to grab a bite before an early flight. The staff there was definitely the highlight, they were all kind and attentive. I'd recommend for a good meal.

Came for a late dinner, started off with some coffee. Which was super fresh and HOT. Which is great when I’m just drinking it, but when I went to put sugar in my cup, someone placed the lid on a completely full sugar shaker, and the entire thing dumped out all of me, and spilling an entire burning hot coffee on my lap. My server was nowhere to be found. I flagged down another server, and had to ask for someone to move the bulk of the now, thick, sticky coffee/sugar mixture that literally got all over my legs, Prada bag& expensive shorts. Once I could move, I went to the bathroom to clean myself and have burn marks on my legs. When I came out and told the server ( who wasn’t even our waitress, but ours was nowhere to be found) she told me she would mention it to the manager. When our server eventually arrived, we told her also what happened. And she told us that when they do side work and fill the sugar, sometimes they “forget to tighten a lid or 2 sometimes “ when filling them in bulk. Never was approached by the manger at any point to ask if I was okay, or even asked by our server if I was okay or if I needed annything else to help clean the sticky mess off of me after telling her. And also- the fried seafood platter was so over fried the breading was crumbling off

Great little neighborhood diner. Excellent portions at a reasonable price. Definately check it out if you're a hungry traveler looking for some good classic diner eats.

Our server was very pleasant; the TV content was not.
Seems like they are often out of clean dishes.

I had a great meal at Stargate Diner! The interior is much nicer than you’d expect from the outside — very clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff seemed genuinely happy, and the whole vibe of the place was positive and welcoming. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to friends.

The only small issue I had was with the way I read the menu. I ordered two eggs with bacon and asked to add corned beef hash. I saw a note on the menu that said “add corned beef hash for $1.99,” so I thought that meant I was simply adding it to the plate for $1.99. But I later realized that $1.99 is the substitution cost — to swap the bacon or sausage for corned beef hash. What I ended up ordering was a full side of corned beef hash at $5.99 in addition to the bacon.

That’s completely on me — I misread the menu — but I do think a little more clarity could help avoid confusion. Maybe the wording could be changed slightly, or staff could double-check with customers who order that way. When the bill came, I was surprised by the extra charge, but not enough to make a fuss over it — just something to note for next time.

Overall, though, this place is excellent. Don’t let the outside fool you — the inside is fantastic, and the food and service are top-notch. A real hidden gem. Five stars!
