My experience was that I got very sick from the bad fish they "cooked".

NOT OPEN, even though their answering machine said they were. Went over today to see if they were still serving on the back patio. Opened the first door- Strong smell of cat urine inside, the second door was locked. Saw a sick looking cat sitting in what used to be the restaurant, with shoes and clothes strewn about and a weight bar on the floor- looks like someone is living there. Not sure I would eat here even if they did open back up: SMELLS LIKE A LITTER BOX!

They lost their liquor license so they have no money to buy food. They were out of almost every entree, even most sandwiches. Waitress forgot the salad. Word must be on the street, as the place was empty except for an unsuspecting party of five. Whoever heard of an empty restaurant having ONE burger left, and ONE rib eve, and no NY Strips? Avoid this one like the plague! If it survives...the owners really don't give a damn. And the tough rib eye was a rape at $36.95. I'm going back to Outback!

We went on a Wed. evening craving a good steak. We nearly turned around when we saw only one table occupied. We should have. We didn't find out they are BYOB until we got there. No wine. Our server first gave us a long list of items that they were out of, including the NY strip. I ordered the pork sandwich. Oops. Out of that too. So I order the fillet and my partner ordered the ribeye with a salad. The first table has vacated and a family of five celebrating the mom's birthday has arrived with their own beer and wine. Locals in the know. The family is informed of all the things that are not available. Add to the list that they are down to one hamburger and one ribeye steak. Of course, four of the five wanted burgers. After an uncomfortably long wait, our entrees arrive. The salad had been totally forgotten. Not like they were terribly pressed. The ribeye was passable, the fillet was overdone and dry. Broccoli and green beans were frozen vegetables cooked to death. My baked sweet potato was the best thing on my plate. We had checked this restaurants website before going and it lists steak prices in the low to mid $20 range. The menu stated mkt. Imagine our surprise at being charged $36.99 each for cafeteria quality meals.

This is a BYOB which would add to any special meal. The service is slow, but this can add to the ambience.

This place is so great. Nice, genuine vibe to it. Tried most of the food, and always satisfied. and the best part--great portions! My buddies parents went on there first date here. Without the great food of The Gas Light, my buddy might not even exist! Then I took my beautiful lady there and we've had great times. Check it out.
