Walnut Grill - Robinson

It was my first time at this location. The hostess was not friendly. The waitress wasn't too much better. She didn't even provide her name. The food, quality and taste, was not worth the cost. Upon leaving the same hostess looked at us and didn't even say goodbye. Wish I would have taken my out of town guest to an establishment in the City. Will not return.

Server was subpar. Restaurant was not even busy and server rarely checked in on us. We had to track down server to get more drinks and then also for our check.

Don't bother with the ahi tuna not worth the $15 and the WG bacon smash burger I got was decent but just a regular burger. Other than that, amazing service from the bartender. She made one of the best espresso martini's I've had and made sure I was taken care of.

Absolutely a delicious meal. Unfortunately we ate it before I had an opportunity to take a picture. Wait staff from the head chef to the hostess were great. We will be back soon.

Jewel was wonderful and helped me to choose the ahi tuna appetizer. I also ordered the small walnut/cranberry salad which was huge! Both were delicious! Jewel also kept the coffee coming. When I was getting ready to head to a movie, she very quickly took the cash and told me to enjoy the movie. Just really pleasant.

The check had a fee for non-cash payment. I pointed it out to Jewel and asked her to correct the error and add it to the tip. I hope she did.

Loved everything about the Walnut Grille. Diana was superb. The espresso martini was fantastic and the food? Incredible! I got the filet with asparagus and a Caesar salad. It was all perfection. The asparagus was cooked perfectly and the steak melted in my mouth. We got some delicious bread with hummus( great touch) and the pretzel with cheese to start. Everyone I was with was raving about their meals and Diana’s service was impeccable! I would give the service and food 1000 stars if possible! If I ever get back to Pittsburgh I know where I’ll be heading! Thx to you all for a wonderful experience!
