We had an enjoyable time with friends - the deviled eggs were delicious and so was the dessert.
The Easter buffet was outstanding. All good from appetizers, main dishes and desserts. Service on a very busy day was friendly and attentive to everyone.
Too many people crammed into one room and tables were too close together. It was challenging to get to the buffet because you couldn't get through. The food was good and worth the price, but the service was a little slow for drinks. Would go back for a meal.
I'm disappointed in that I felt misled by our waiter. He told us appetizers were half off till 6:30p. We ordered everything at 6:10p. He charged us full price for 2 appetizers. He told us house wine was also half off and we were changed full price It was my girlfriend's birthday and he said she would get a free ice cream ball. We were also charged full price instead of free. I didn't look at the receipt before I gave him my card because I felt rushed. He was checking on us frequently. We were the only ones sitting outside and we felt he just wanted us to leave
We had a wonderful dinner, and our server, Diane, was fantastic. Great teamwork among all the house staff from hostesses to busser, wait staff and managers, making sure all guests had their food quickly, tables cleared and re-set quickly, refilling drinks for each other—really top-notch teamwork.
Our party of three had a wonderful dinner experience at the Walnut Grill in Robinson Twp. The food was great and the service as well. We will definitely return.
Not impressed. The food wasn't BAD, but was lacking in flavor. Based on the texture I doubt much, if any, of the food was prepared in-house. Service was disappointing, especially since we were only one of three or four parties in the restaurant at the time. Drinks were good though, and they gave free refills for soft drinks
We had a nice experience. Servers were excellent and very friendly and the food was good. Temperature wise It is always a little cold in there. I wish they would turn up the heat a little.
You all took the good menu away and left us with nursing home 80 year-old British and English women’s food. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had food wise with you all.💯 my server was good. She was in the weeds, but she was good💯 I pray you all bring back the good food😩💔 Also please take that jelly that you all put with a cheese quesadilla away and I had no fruit in my at all. The whole combination is nasty. I’m giving the cooks a break only because I can tell my plate sat in the window going bad and you all gave them a 90 years old nursing home menu to deal with so I blame the head of Walnut Grill for breaking my food heart and messing up valentines I just made the best of it💯 I used to truly be happy hearing I was about to eat at your place of business but sweet baby Jesus take the wheel you all are trying to kill us😩
My husband told the server that he was allergic to tomatoes and when his food arrived there were two big, thick slices of tomato on the plate. It would be no big deal to just take them off but there's juice, there's seeds, and who knows if that could have gotten into other parts of his food. We were bothered by the multitude of fruit flies, gnats or fleas that kept circling around us as we were trying to eat. When we mentioned this to the server, she just chuckled. And finally when I attempted to pay the bill, I gave the server two gift cards and my credit card. The gift cards were $25 and $1.93. When she brought my credit card back the amount seemed off. I had to get another server to let her know that I had questions and when she came back to the table she said that the one credit card had no money left on it. I realize it was less than $2, but still, it should have been applied to my bill as I intended. I called prior to coming to the restaurant to find out how much was on each of the cards and I was told $25 on the one and $1.93 on the other. At the very least, she could have given me that card back just so that I could check it again even though I had just done it an hour prior. My suspicion is that she didn't want to give it back because she knew there was $1.93 remaining. Of course, it's not going to break me, but it kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth for your restaurants. Speaking of a bad taste, the beer battered Cod that my husband ordered had a very heavy grease taste. I don't know if we will ever go to a Walnut Grill again, but if we do, we will be sure not to order the fried fish.

Ordered food for take out and knew it would be done and waiting for me to get there so I asked for my burgers "toppings" on the side expecting the lettuce/tomato/sauce separate. First time I have ever had the burger patties and fries put into their own container. No bun, at all. None of the "special sauce," and another container with melted slices of American cheese with lettuce on top. That's all... Everyone was super nice at the restaurant which I appreciate, but this just makes no sense. Could have at least included a straw if I'm supposed to blend it all up and drink it. (Don't want to destroy the Google reviews with a low star rating because I know how much a low rating effects the overall when I know my experience isn't the standard. But incredibly irritated, and hangry)
