I ordered a cake and asked for half chocolate and half vanilla, which is absolutely NOT marble cake. I felt that the girl taking the order didn't want bothered and though it looked very pretty, it ultimately was not what I ordered and the guests were very disappointed, especially those who like chocolate cake.

Baked goods here are always great! Everything is more expensive now, but their quality hasn't changed. Their breads are to die for, and so many varieties!! Their donuts are fresh every morning, and their bagels are excellent, although huge! Nothing bad to say about the bakery. Yum!!!

Went to Rochester Giant Eagle last night. The entire store is now cashless!!! I was at the register trying to pay cash, I was picking up groceries for someone else, and she told me to just use my debit card. NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP THERE. There were NO SIGNS at my register to warn me they don't accept cash. And there was nothing on the door. Good bye Giant Eagle. If you don't want my business then I don't want yours.

Very pathetic that your workers are bullying older customers who have frequented your store for many years. My mother was in your store yesterday to purchase her Christmas ham and your worker insisted she show her receipt. When my mother questioned the worker about providing a receipt your worker threatened to have security called! My mother had to search her purse when she provided the receipt your worker commented this isn’t a giant eagle receipt! Then your worker realized it was the correct receipt!! Your worker was confused due to there being a gift card on the receipt! My family and I will never step foot in your store again.

Very disappointed today. I buy alot of birthday cakes from Giant Eagle in Rochester. I went today and got a bd cake for my sister. This one is bad. It tastes like the top layer is burnt and covered over with icing. Pretty much a waste of $20. Couldnt decide between chocolate or white. Chose the white. Wish I would have picked chocolate. ?

The bakery goods are all good and tasty but there's one lady that works there who is really really rude and nasty. That's why I gave it 3 stars. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day. Nope,I come here every Fri at the same time and this would be the 5th time in a row she was super rude. I won't say her name or get into specifics because if you have the chance to talk to her you WILL know exactly who I'm talking about. The rest of the ladies seemed to be ok that's why I didn't give one star.

Overpriced groceries in a somewhat dirty store. Just wish they would clean up, especially in the delicatessen area. It smells like rotten meat.
