Sad the food was awful! Could not eat it. I am surprised we didnt get sick. Then the following week the health department shut it down.

Ordered to close by board of health due to imminent health hazard: Observation of an accumulation of excess filth, food debris, grease, and dirt underneath the equipment throughout the entire facility as well as an accumulation of grease and dirt on theceiling tiles and walls.
Repeat violation from previous inspections.

I stop at the east Rochester store and get my wife a three piece chicken dinner and I got home she opened it up only 2 piece was in the box one of the pieces was only 3 inches so my wife went back to let her know what had happened she said after a what do you want me too do about it now I no longer want to go to the store anymore bad customer service

The service always sucks at the Rochester Location. It’s been that way my entire life to be honest. LJS is a (shameful) guilty pleasure of mine or I wouldn’t ever come. I don’t even know how they are still in business. One time I brought my two kids and we ate inside, the guys were nice but they gave us a bunch of free food (I’m not complaining) but in actual awe that this happens. I am only writing this because I have time, I’ve been sitting the the drive thru for 25 minutes. There is no car in front of me, one bc at in the parking lot, and I order a single A1 meal with a Pepsi.

The owner of this store really needs to pull it together. They don't take any pride in their location. If their are more than 4 customers in the store dont even bother waiting because they cant handle that many people. I loved the food here but recently the staff has been proven to be incompetent. The only thing I can say positive is they are at least better than the butler location. Please start paying your workers fair wage so they can actually do the required tasks.

When you walk in and the seats are still that original looking blue plastic seating it just brings back the Nostalgia lol. The breading on the fried shrimp and chicken must be just out of the fryer fresh and is really good. But not even once every 3 or 4 months is good for you I crave it every now and then what is a very rare occasion to have it. Don't worry we'll be back at some point

The corn that you served me..... was so cold and stale tasting
.I wouldn't even let my son try it. Embarrassing.
I haven't been to this store in years... and the chicken was my go to item...I would always get a 3 piece chicken and add another piece of chicken to my order. The chicken that you served me was so tiny.. I couldn't believe it.
I did ask for some 'crunchies' as I pulled up to the window.... remembering that I used to get them. The worker was VERY accommodating and did not hesitate to add them to my order at no cost. 🎖🎖

Really rad restaurant! The hushpuppies are excellent. Cheesy waffle fries, great. And the pop is always fizzy. And the atmosphere is one of the main reasons I go. The people who work there are awesome! I feel like I'm there at least once a week

I'm in a toxic relationship with this store. I LOVE THEIR FOOD!!! But they are never open. My last 10 attempts to eat here 2 months they were open twice.

Inside is closed and has been. I’m assuming due to short staff. Waited 15-20 minutes in drive through with no one saying a thing. Pulled up to the window, no one was there. Waited an additional 5 or so minutes before can get any service. They need to close or hire more staff.
