Great food & drinks with a sophisticated atmosphere. Met with good old friends & had a great time on appetizers & a NA homemade Lemon Dacquiri!
The food is of highest quality and the atmosphere is outstanding.
I'm going with 3 stars as the many past experiences were excellent but the one last night was well below par. When my salmon salad arrived at the table it smelled very fishy which anyone who eats salmon knows is off, which explained the very off taste. I did not finish the salmon or the salad greens. My daughters filet which cost $38 was overcooked and the mashed potato side had absolutely no seasonings (salt, pepper, etc.). I was excited I found this place 3 1/2 years ago and was never disappointed. I feel the cost for menu items are far too high for the venue and you need to focus on care in preparation so even at a higher cost per menu item patrons do not leave disappointed and hungry.
Great food me and my wife was very pleased
I got my sister n brother in law a 50.00 gift card for christmas.they went to your restaurant last week n it was the worst meal they ever had!! I'm very upset about this!!!!

This place is a joke! After trying to reinvent itself as the Tanaka Rasa for 4 weeks (as explained by

Great food awesome portions at resonable prices .. I like it ,the 10oz bone in filet was to die for ,I had Brussels sprout that were perfectly done and fresh ,also if you go there do yourself a favor and get the roasted garlic truffle fries I think they are ... You wont regret it !!!
Dinner was delicious. I had the Lobster Raviolis. Nice amount of Lobster. They have a great cocktails menu, very different then anywhere else around. I would highly recommend it. Probably the best restaurant in Rochester. Service was great too!! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.
Food quality, variety, and value is good. Service works hard but restaurant seems understaffed, both in the kitchen and front of the house. Regardless, we enjoyed our meal and would eat here again.
Went there recently after craving their amazing Popeyes pasta. Got there ordered it and my BFF ordered the steak. The pasta came out with bow tie pasta no bacon and there was no cream sauce - it tasted like nothing. When questions the waitress said they were out of the spinach pasta, bacon, and milk. They should have taken it off the menu. The steak was okay but lacked seasoning. Also the deserts were lack luster compared to previous times. After asking the waitress several question it came out the previous pastry chef was no longer there and it was a new chef. Will be a long time before I return which is sad.
Our book club meets at the Fairport once a month because; the food is great, our waitress, Rochelle, is just a delight, the atmosphere couldn't be better, we love supporting a local business. This month the special was sea bass with a citrus sauce over rice and mixed veg, really good. The chef always comes out to see how we are doing, is everything to our liking, etc. he even asks if there is something we are interested in for him to make next month. You don't get that kind of service anywhere else.
