I can't speak to the food because we only had chips and salsa, but the beer is good.

I took my husband here for his birthday, most breweries are more on the upscale side and draw a certain more adult crowd but this brewery was casual and family centered which I was not expecting. It was cozy but not dark. And be prepared to spend money not because the prices are crazy high but because the food is phenomenal! When I first saw the menu I doubted the place, there was so few options but man this place takes those few options and creates quality good food and not just good but local, fresh and homemade. It was nothing what I was expecting but it was an amazing experience! My husband got a flight of beers and loved them all, he also loved the wide selection of choices and how detailed the menu was on what exactly they used in each. With so few options I chose to not do a traditional burger and went with a chili bowl and some mac n cheese. I was not left disappointed and both surprisingly filled me up. Even the sour cream was homemade and the mac n cheese definitely was not craft but instead light and airy and fresh. I was also shocked by the sweet potato taters my husband got, so so good. So I highly recommend this place, good service, casual environment and amazing food. We did not leave disappointed. We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with kids there, very unusual for a brewery and a great kids menu options

Wheelchair accessibility: One story, bathrooms right down the hall, a little tight for mobility devices between tables but they make it work.

We enjoyed a great meal last weekend. While the burgers were prepared just as we asked, we wish they offered a wider selection.

We both had the Wagu burgers. They were well prepared, including the descriptions of what the 3 types of medium done will look like. The meat was primo, the sandwich was good. I declined a dressing on my side of slaw. It was dressed but didn't taste like it was dressed. Not to self: get a dressing for the slaw!

Kid-friendliness: They have outside seating which is perfect for us, we have a Great Dane. Kid friendly, dog friendly.

I don't often write reviews - and when I do, it's usually to rave about excellent service. Unfortunately, I had such a disappointing experience at Bespoke that I feel the need to share it. I brought several of my friends and their children to Bespoke for a late Friday lunch. I had not yet been, but I have driven by and looked at the website - which promotes a children's menu and made me think they would welcome families. The EXACT opposite was true. I have never received such a cold welcome in any establishment in my life. We came in - and the restaurant was empty, as it was late for lunch - but were greeted with the worst looks and reception. We were told that we were not welcome to sit, despite the fact that there were plenty of open tables and seats - more than enough to seat us. At first I thought the kitchen might be closed, but when we asked, we were told that they expected to get busy and didn't want us standing around. This made zero sense and felt incredibly discriminatory: we wanted to sit and eat lunch at 2:00 on a Friday when the restaurant was completely empty but open. Meanwhile - and perhaps equally concerning - the rest of the staff had come out and were standing at the bar, staring at our children like they were animals. I was embarrassed that I had recommended this restaurant to my friends. Even more so, I was mortified that my children had to experience treatment like that, when the lessons I repeatedly share with them are to treat everyone with respect, regardless of age or any other characteristic. They talked about how horrible it made them feel for days afterwards, and prompted many additional discussions among ourselves about how the Bespoke staff set a distinct example of how NOT to treat people. If you are thinking about bringing your family here, think again. And frankly, I wouldn't recommend bringing adults either.

My sister and her boyfriend were visiting after having had to flee their hometown (Asheville, NC) due to the damage from Hurricane Helene. We figured, since Asheville is full of breweries, that taking them to the local brewery in town would be a fun and familiar change of pace. Boy, were we wrong!

It was midday Saturday and the place was fairly busy, but our party of 5 was seated fairly quickly. The few staff working the busy dining room were all friendly but noticeably pretty young (it was clear they were woefully undertrained; I blame management for our experience). We ordered the crab dip and pretzel appetizers to start. The crab dip came out first covered in a thick, super-oily layer of cheese, which we scraped off as it was quite unappetizing. The pita chips and bread pieces that came with the dip were all extremely stale, rendering the entire dish inedible. We couldn't help but laugh at how gross the whole dish was. About 10 minutes later, the pretzel came out with an apology from the server that they spilled the cheese sauce. Well, no wonder: the cheese sauce was about as watery as it gets! It seriously tasted like someone mixed instant mac-n-cheese powder with water. So gross. The mustard sauce that came with the pretzel and the pretzel itself were edible, however.

While we waited for our entrees, the "atmosphere" of the dining room became an endurance test. At almost every table was at least one small child who felt the need to shriek bloody murder at varying intervals. When the table next to us (with the loudest child by far) finally left, we watched as the staff neglected to bus their table for about 20 minutes. When the staff finally got around to cleaning the table off, one of the older female servers rested a dirty dust pan ON TOP OF THE TABLE while removing dishes and sweeping. We all sat in disbelief watching them clean, clearly seeing no issue with having a dirty dust pan lay where the next guests would unfortunately eat.

When our entrees finally came after about an hour of sitting and listening to children scream, we were faced with meals that were — much like our appetizers — pretty inedible. My sister got the "portobello rueben," a truly puzzling sandwich that included a big wet mushroom that looked like it spawned in a basement, wilted arugula, mystery cheese, and a some saurkraut. Two others got the "sourdough patty melt" that arrived on soggy sliced white bread... no sourdough to be found. The cheese on the patty melt was not so much melted as it was sweaty and clinging to the bread. My sister's boyfriend remarked that his patty melt was "something he would've made in college when he was drunk." All 3 of these sandwiches went uneaten.

Surprisingly, the best thing that we received was the salmon sandwich and the black and bleu burger. Neither of these sandwiches were particularly fabulous, but they actually looked pretty appealing by comparison to what the others received. Sure, the burger was nowhere near "medium rare" as my husband had ordered it, but it certainly wasn't undercooked. I'm not sure why they asked how he wanted it cooked in the first place if medium was all they could pull off. We also had zero complaints about the beers we ordered.

The moral of the story here is that this staff desperately needs training. I'm concerned for the cleanliness of this establishment as well as the food quality. The only thing that salvaged this experience for my group was that we all have a good sense of humor and have worked in the service industry, so we know how poor management leads to these kinds of situations. Save your money and go anywhere else!

Bespoke was the most chaotic place we have ever eaten. We were told our table was available, wasn't given menus, or explained that we didn't have a waitress. I looked at my phone and noticed I had received a text stating that I was to open the link to place my order. No one came by to answer our questions. The app does not give the option to leave a comment or special request. Once our food came, we had to ask for napkins, silverware, and condiments. We were all happy with our food, but that was the only thing.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. We were excited to come to this place after cherry crest farms, but our group of 20 was greeted with attitude, rolling eyes, and were told to do take out and sit outside. They had plenty of seats available for us, yet told us we could not sit inside with zero explanation as to why. We were ready to spend plenty of money but our money was not good enough for them apparently. Don’t let them fool you, they may be close to Strasburg railroad, but they do not want your family to go to their establishment.

Waiting at the bar we watched food go back that was undercooked or not good. Couldn’t get a bartender to pay attention to us. Gave us an empty bottle of ketchup but didn’t notice til we walked all the way outside. Bartender was just talking to customers at the end of bar not paying attention to the register. When I asked out loud if anyone actually worked here a woman came from the back and said , “I’m here now.” No thanks. And also a bathroom with no paper towels so when you clean your hands you have to grab the dirty door handle to leave the bathroom. No thanks.

I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, which was delicious, though the side of mac and cheese was a little bland. My husband’s Patty Melt and fries were good. He enjoyed a couple drinks - the Old Fashioned and one other. I’d definitely recommend this place and eat here again.
