Bought a slice of shoo-fly pie and 6 whoopie pies. I am born and bred in Lancaster County and have eaten many shoo-fly pies and whoopie pies in my 69 years. Cost was over $16. Whoopie-pie filling was overwhelming sweet and cookie on all 6 tasted stale/hard!!! Took one bite of Shoo-fly pie and couldn't even swallow it. NOT an Amish pie recipe for sure.
