My favorite place to go as a child. Now I'm 57 and still love coming to Dutch Haven 🙌🏽❤️
Best Shoo Fly Pie in town!

They are extremely above par when it comes to service and the shoofly pies that they sell. It is a great place. Besides the Amish in the area, it is the place to go!

Any time I am within an hour of this place, I make the drive to get a cup of root beer and a shoo fly pie! I grew up experiencing the magic of this area of PA and now I get to pass that on to my kiddo. There is something so comforting about that darn pie! This time I also grabbed some delicious jams and apple butter and my son got a pencil sharpener that has a globe that spins on it he really likes. I love looking at all the unique wares and wood furniture here.

It's been almost a decade since I lived in Lancaster, so when I needed to clean out my old storage, I also needed to stop in and get a wet bottom Shoo-fly pie and show my ladies around a bit. A lot has changed, but this place is still as I remember it. They sell a bit of different stuff, but the pies were on my need list. (And it was delicious)

I suppose everyone has a right to their own opinion, but I think the 4.4 rating on this place is an absolute travesty. I had never tried shoo-fly pie before visiting PA this autumn, but I made it a point to try a couple of different ones during my visit, and while all of them were quite yummy, for me Dutch Haven was head and shoulders and belly-button ahead of all others. For anyone who loves shoo-fly pie, I'd be pretty surprised if you didn't love theirs; and for anyone who wants to try it for the first time, I HIGHLY recommend making Dutch Haven the one you try. I only wish it weren't so much more expensive to have it shipped vs. buying it on site (but that's pretty par for the course for shipping food items, so disappointing as it is, I do totally get it). Oh well, I'll just have to figure out a good time to make my way back at some point, and do a bit more stocking up next time around! :D

The whole staff was extremely rude. It was our first time there and we were looking forward to getting a pie as a gift for a friend. The way they talk to customers is unacceptable. You can get great pies at many other places around Lancaster with much better hospitality :)

Dutch Haven Shoo-Fly Pie Bakery is a must visit spot! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by incredibly friendly staff and offered a sample of their famous shoo-fly pie, which was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with charming decor that reflects the area’s Amish heritage. It’s clear they take pride in their pies, and for good reason they’re fantastic! We left with a slice to take home with root beer and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
