The staff burns incense to cover up mold and mildew smell in the carriage house rooms. My daughter had an allergic reaction to it. Didn’t even get a response. Stay somewhere else.
Ok. This place may look lovely with the grounds kept clean and inside is clean. But they mislead you. Telling us yes you can get a wheelchair accessible room which I thought then the room would have grab bars in the bathroom in shower and toilet area. Nope. WE SPECIFICALLY SAID WE NEED GRAB BARS, I almost fell in the slippery shower. Glass doors and nothing to hold on to or even a bath seat. Luckily we brought my own bath seat. It’s not a RESORT.

We stayed on a summer weeknight and had a great experience! The grounds are beautiful with tons of photo opportunities and peaceful walking trails. We stayed in the Carriage House—very clean rooms with their own parking, and just a short, easy walk to the main hotel.
