Been here for lunch and dinner. Always good food. However,I was a bit disappointed in breakfast. Bread was delicious as was the homemade strawberry jelly on the table. My scrambled eggs were a bit runny and buttery. Home fries were ok. It was also very pricey. $3.50 for a cup of hot water with a tea bag is ridiculous. Probably won't be back.

We went here based on reviews and their menu online looked very reasonable price wise and sounded appetizing. The hard truth... NOTHING was seasoned. I could still deal with that saying salt and pepper are on the table. But I ordered the slow roasted turkey meal... IT WAS CANNED TURKEY! Which was so salty... on top of unseasoned stuffing topped with unseasoned gravy next to unseasoned mashed potatoes/gravy with salt free fries. At this point hospital food tasted better. $16.95 The soup we had before hand... unseasoned. It was cheesy potatoe soup... a mix of different types of frozen potatoes and shredded carrots... cheese? Where? But I ate it after adding salt pepper and crackers! $5.95 Burgers? Frozen patties slapped on a thick potatoe rolls. Chicken parm with no spagetti, just a side salad. Mac and cheese was noodles mixed with prego cheddar cheese sauce Kids meal... hot dog on a dinner roll rolled out to the size of the hot dog w a 50 cent chip bag dumped next to it for a whole $7.50 Someone in our party ordered a cup of chili as well and he asked for some shredded cheese and that was 50 cents for a pinch of shredded cheese. Watch the bill as well... they were trying to charge us for 2 burgers and only one person got a burger in our party. Their store bought dinner rolls tho paired with their home made peanut butter was good tho. But asking for more rolls n peanut butter landed an additional $2 on the bill. Atmosphere was quiet. You had to whisper bc talking normally felt like it was too loud. The place would be great if it were as advertised. The waitress looked like she had to force herself to smile. I asked to just be charged for the mashed n fries since the turky/stuffing was awful... $5.50x2 was added to our bill so $11 for fries n taters! 🫣 There is plenty of other great restaurants to choose from over this one... We went back to our hotel room and ordered domino's.

This is not just a ice cream shop. Katie’s is a restaurant that serves PA Dutch food at the highest level of taste and satisfaction — Open face roast beef sandwich, sweet potato fries, onion rings,bacon beef blue cheese hamburger! - Go hungry or you wasted your trip.

We had a delicious lunch here yesterday, while visiting the area. Great food, service, reasonable prices. We had wraps and fries, very good. The fries seemed homemade. We were too full for dessert but there was many delicious treats available. We will come back the next time we are in the area.

The hostess said 20-15 minutes. We waited 40 minutes. Fries were not fresh. The fries were soggy. I would never go there again
First time eating here at this restaurant, and I enjoyed it very much. The staff were very polite and accommodating. The food was wonderful and freshly made. There is a formal seating area with booths and tables along with a bar diner section.
