Zook's Homemade Chicken Pies

I have to say that all the years we ( the wife and I) have going to Lancaster and we found Zooks ,and love the pies . Chicken has big chunks of chicken, not pieces that you have to get the magnifying glass to find the chicken. The same with all their pies . Now I can get them at my grocery store ,but still like to go for the ride.

The chickens Too toughyou can’t chew it and two big pieces! I used to buy these pies by the case At the store in Lancaster, but no longer enjoy them because of the tough meat must be using an old chickens out of chicken houses after they’re done lying

They are the best before I move to new holland pa from New York I would visit Lancaster quit often I would take back to New York their pies and their chicken and beef broth that is when they were on Harvest drive road how happy am I now that I live in the area and am able to shop there all the time thank you guys for your delicious pot pies

Best store bought Chicken Pot Pie, I have ever eaten. These Chicken pot pies are a must try.

I have been very disappointed recently after buying your chicken pies. I've been buying your chicken pies for many years but recently, there has been no gravy in them. The last 2, I bought, were very dry, in fact, hard to swallow the food. I usually buy your pies at Shady Maple food store. I hope this is not what appears normally these days, manufacturers, cutting back on ingredients to give poorer quality.

Zook’s is a great stop for homemade food. The variety of foods are great and the prices are also great. Very friendly people.

I don’t get out many five star ratings, and I really wish I could keep this place a secret, but it wouldn’t be long until it got out, so I will just spill my guts here…

Zooks is without a doubt, one of the best Amish bakeries I have ever been in this area, and there are quite a few. Their chicken pot pies are a favorite of all, but my unholy sweet tooth won’t allow me to leave without buying at least two or three packages of cookies/baked rolls/pies/etc. I highly recommend the oatmeal raisin bars, that is if you can find them in stock. Stuff goes pretty quick here, so get there early if you want to get in on it!

Came for the chicken pot pies & they did not disappoint! So delicious, gotta go back for more!
