I have to say that all the years we ( the wife and I) have going to Lancaster and we found Zooks ,and love the pies . Chicken has big chunks of chicken, not pieces that you have to get the magnifying glass to find the chicken. The same with all their pies . Now I can get them at my grocery store ,but still like to go for the ride.
They are the best before I move to new holland pa from New York I would visit Lancaster quit often I would take back to New York their pies and their chicken and beef broth that is when they were on Harvest drive road how happy am I now that I live in the area and am able to shop there all the time thank you guys for your delicious pot pies
I don’t get out many five star ratings, and I really wish I could keep this place a secret, but it wouldn’t be long until it got out, so I will just spill my guts here…
Zooks is without a doubt, one of the best Amish bakeries I have ever been in this area, and there are quite a few. Their chicken pot pies are a favorite of all, but my unholy sweet tooth won’t allow me to leave without buying at least two or three packages of cookies/baked rolls/pies/etc....
