Barrister's Bagels

I was really excited to try this place because I doordash for them and the bagels always look incredible! The reviews looked very mixed, and sadly the bad ones were correct. My bagel was supposed to be toasted and was barely warm, and was very tough. The appearance was stunning, but almost no flavor and I felt like I was going to break a tooth trying to bite it. The inside, which looked fluffy, was dense and tough as well, overall not great.

I have given this bagel shop numerous chances to redeem themselves but they are just too inconsistent. The sugar and cinnamon cream cheese (sometimes) has so much cinnamon in it it’s barely palatable. Sometimes there is an acceptable amount of cream cheese on the bagel and sometimes they just wave the bagel over the cream cheese and hope some of it jumps on. Goodbye Barristers.

This place used to be really good. $14 for 2 bacon & egg breakfast sandwiches is absurd. Just make the stuff yourself at home.

Just a bad bagel. Barley warmed, don't know if I'd even consider it toasted. The veggie cream cheese was absolutely awful, there were just massive chunks of bell pepper. The seeds on the outside felt like they were just thrown on, not incorporated into the outside at all. Overall a bad bagel, would not recommend, just go to your local grocery store bakery instead.

Floor was filthy and sticky. We waited 25 minutes for a toasted bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was so hard to chew that my mouth hurt all day. These are not new york bagels.

I am sorry I do not remember her name. She was very helpful and accomodating. I was able to pick up my trays of bagels and get them into the city of Philly for my mom's service (repast). I really appreaciate what she and the staff did for me. The bagels were a hit. Thank you!

The food was good I ordered two sandwiches and one hashbrown, the sandwichs where cold and the cheese was not melted at all. It took about 25 minutes and had to wait for the other online orders to be done before us because we ordered in. The hashbrown was filled with just grease and did not taste good.
