Jays Steaks in Royersford PA has to be the most amazing steak I've had in forever.I had a provolone steak with long hots, the roll was scooped and toasted and it was chewy and held up the steak, not soggy, not under or over cooked. This was as near perfect a steak as I've ever had.You can taste the pride and love put into their steaks. It is a small family owned business that works on word of mouth. You need to check them out if you haven't already.

THIS place!!! Incredibly great cheesesteaks, hoagies, and sandwiches with excellent variety. The prices are great considering the meat they pack in there! Roast beef was perfect, with all veggies looking and tasting fresh. Plenty of parking out front and quick efficient service. Courteous and friendly staff. I would have taken a pic of my roast beef hoagie, but ummm I devoured it. Next time!

A steak place but don't miss out on their hoagies! So far I've had the roast beef hoagie and their 422 steak with steak, pork roll and cooper sharp. Both were amazing! If you haven't tried them yet run, don't walk, and visit them. The best I've had in the area by far. Prices are very reasonable too!

My buddy and I stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon.We got a California chicken cheesesteak and a "422" I believe it was called which is a beef cheesesteak with cooper cheese which also had pork roll chipped up and fried in with the beef.The lady at the counter was very helpful and both sandwiches were excellent.We each cut our sandwich in half and split it with each other. We both agreed the sandwiches were excellent and we'd would both stop back.I took one half of my cheese steak home and reheated it later in a toaster oven and the roll was still nice and crispy and held up well.Onions rings were (as the millennial hipsters say) "legit", boom boom dipping sauce for the onion rings was great and I also drizzled a little on my chicken cheesesteak.Excellent service and very friendly!
My kids were doing swim school next door so I gave Jays a try. Ordered a regular cheesesteak (picture is only half of it) when they started class to be ready to go when the kids were done splashing around. Little did I know this would be possibly the best decision of my life.Steak was done on time and I brought it home anticipating another mediocre “cheesesteak” which I’ve experienced far too often. To my surprise it was the complete opposite. This steak was banging. Perfectly seasoned with the right amount of cheese and they didn’t skimp on the meat by any means. Add a dang near perfectly baked seeded role and I found my soulmate.By far the best cheesesteak I’ve had outside of the city and would even compete with most of the good ones there. I also want to mention that the price was relatively below what I’ve seen from competitors. Thank you to Jay (if that’s your real name), the friendly woman who handed me my cheesesteak, and the cooks in the back. You’ve made my night. God bless you all and thank you for bringing this beautiful establishment to my area. I will be back soon (tomorrow in all likelihood).Mike D
