This location is ideal in every way. I've never had better shrimp and grits than this. I didn't take a picture since they were so amazing that I inhaled them. For a fantastic lunch and enjoyable company, you cannot go wrong. I heartily endorse travelling.

I would have give it 5 but the service was a bit slow. As for the food ... Wow was it good! I had the shrimp and grits. I am NOT a shrimp and grits kind of person but I wasn't in the mood for a lot of NOLA spice. It was perfect. I always heard of grits being creamy but never found a place that could do that. The Big Easy did and boy were they good. Everything appears to be cooked to order so that takes a little time. I hope these guys can make it because it is very different. Check it out for yourself!

I would have rated 2.5 but our waitress was the best part of the experience. The poor girl was taking orders, serving and bussing tables alone but she stayed cheerful. We had made reservations several days ahead so they knew to expect a large party. Our reservations were for 6. Still after we ordered she had to come back 3 times to tell us they were out of things. One was their signature burger, the other was French onion soup and then a creole dish Grandma had ordered. My chicken was tough and dry. I did hear good things about their burgers from two of our party and bar drinks were a hit with those who were drinking. This is the 3rd time I have tried Big Easy since it switched from the French Bistro and the 3rd time I have been disappointed. I will not be back.

I originally would have given this place 4 stars back in November, but after receiving a message from one of the employees through facebook messenger who served me recently, my rating is now one star. I did a video showing my first time eating mussels here and the girl who served me seemed pretty friendly, but then messeges me on facebook saying my video is illegal and that she was very offended I did a video inside. So if you ever do a vlog inside this place, you apparently have to give a months notice before hand to the owners an employees and give your full details of what you will capture and possibly a blood sample because apparently they're very strict. Also the inside is pretty bleak. Their times are also very out of whack on google. The girl told me they would set the correct times but then google would change it back after a week. So they pretty much just give up after a while. I personally wouldn't recommend it to my family and friends, but hey if you are desperate and haven't eaten in 3 days then I guess it's a place to stop in. But if you don't want to spend a lot I would personally avoid this place at all costs.

Delicious themed cocktails and BBQ brisket French fries! I had the Chicken Oscar Etoufee, which had a nice level of spiciness. Look forward to returning to try more.

Love cajun food, been going to becks for years in reading terminal because its really the only good cajun spot. I ordered the chicken gumbo and chicken etouffe. My gumbo had no okra at all when its advertised as it does, the chicken was big slab of dark meet (whole leg) and over all tasted nothing like gumbo. The etouffe was supposed to come with dirty rice, it was served with plain rice. It also wasnt very good, same slab of chicken and super fishy from the crab. When entering the restaurant there was NOBODY there, had to walk around to the bar were they were blasting music to the 3 people in the whole place lol. Pretty big waste of 50 bucks, wont be going back and id recommend anyone looking for good cajun food just to go to becks and not waste your money.

Never disappoints! Crawfish po boy & muffaletta burger were on point. Solid taplist and mixed it up w a cocktail that I cant remember (rye whiskey)
My friend and I are working in this area for a week. We were looking for a non chain restaurant. We arrived at peak dining hours mid week, and were the only customers dining in, the rest were several take outs. I ordered the chicken Etoufee(spelling?). The chicken was overcooked, and the three thin stalks of asparagus were stringy. The whole meal was bland, it was ok after I added some salt. My dinner partner ordered an app fir dinner that was very large, and stated that it was excellent. The corn bread that came with dinner was outstanding! Our server was very accomodating and most kind. I'm guessing that my dinner was a little overdone, as there was a long wait for only two dine in customers. Since everything but my dinner was very good, I would give it another try if I ever return to this area.

Used to LOVEEE FQB and had high hopes. Went on a Sunday night and we were the only people there. Upon entering, no one was at the front. It was very dark and had a weird vibe/decor. We had to walk around the corner to find someone even though we made a reservation for that time. I ordered the fried chicken and my fiancé had the surf and turf. We were both confused with how the fried chicken was cooked and presented. Most of it was gristle with lots of overcooked breading and dry (if any) chicken inside. I ate one piece and didn’t finish the rest. The Mac and cheese it came with was okay but had no flavor. My fiancés steak seemed good enough but he said without the Gorgonzola cheese sauce, he wouldn’t have eaten it. Today he’s sick from the food he ate. We won’t be returning :( disappointing experience.
