Waitress was sweet, good burger with crab dip. I would have enjoyed a fresh burger, not frozen. Oysters were over fried. Nice and clean. 9pm

When you work for a business, any business, you represent that business. You should be looking out for that business, which means ensuring ALL of it's customer's are satisfied. . My wife ordered a steak and asked for it to be medium cooked. It came out rare and still cold in the center. My waitress, which had stepped outside to smoke (probably not the best timing, as she probably should have came back to check on us shortly after delivering a steak, but that is neither here nor there, and she was a rather good waitress aside from that.) . When she didn't return to the table for a while, not wanting to eat in front of my wife while she sat there, I put the steak on a side place and took it to the counter, where another waitress was standing on the phone. Another couple walked in the door, as the waitress, standing right in front of me, and could plainly see the steak, hung up the phone, said "Hello" to the other couple, turned to me and said, "I'll be with you in a minute", and went to give the other couple menus. . She could have easily asked me what was the issue, took my steak, turned around and placed it in the kitchen window, asking the cook to cook it a little further, all of which would have taken less than ten seconds. . While off giving the other couple menus, another couple came to the counter to pay their bill. When this waitress returned behind the counter, instead of asking me anything, she called for the other waitress, who I believe was still outside, again, missing a ten second exchange with me. . Then she attended to the paying customers that were standing right beside me. . Perhaps it was my looks, perhaps it was because this was the first time in this establishment and she didn't know me, or maybe she thought I looked like someone she disliked, I don't know. All I can say is that I was basically 'dissed'. . Finally, our waitress returned, took the steak, and had it cooked a little more. . As I said, you represent the company you work for. Just because I'm another waitress's customer, doesn't mean you disrespect your company's patrons and risk loosing that company's future revenue because I'm not sitting at your table. . . So do I recommend this restaurant? I would. The food was 'good'. Overall, our waitress was 'good'. The atmosphere was 'good'. (Based on a 'poor', 'ok', 'good', 'great' scale.) . Depending on the reaction to this, I would even go back, but I would make sure I did not get the ignoring waitress. . This isn't meant so much to be a bad review as it is a message to the management or owners to perhaps have a talk about how your employees can affect your revenue, and even their own. . Thank you for your time.

The Family Table Restaurant did an outstanding job catering our wedding! The food was absolutely delicious—our guests are still raving about it! We served brisket, Chesapeake chicken, macaroni and cheese, green beans, and salad, and every single dish was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The brisket was tender, the chicken was packed with flavor, and the mac and cheese was pure comfort food heaven.

Beyond the amazing food, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were professional, friendly, and attentive to our guests, making sure everyone was taken care of. Their service was seamless and added such a warm, welcoming touch to our reception.

We are so grateful to The Family Table for not only delivering a meal our guests loved but for helping create such a memorable and joyful experience. If you’re looking for a caterer who brings both incredible food and exceptional service, we highly recommend them!

Don't get the fish, it's just boxed fish from the freezer section.
The burgers on the other head were fresh, juicy and large. My hungry teen son could barely finish the double bacon burger. And they were affordable!

They went above and beyond for our wedding on Saturday. They set up food, even set out our deserts, and then cleaned up. They went around and made sure we were fed and even went out of their way to help out our struggling unprepared bartenders! lol we will recommended the family table over and over again! They all rocked!!! ❤️

Went between lunch and dinner time, but ended up getting breakfast foods. We didn't have to wait very long for our food, always a plus. Got their French toast with home fries. Food and service were good, enjoyed it in a nice and quiet atmosphere.

Pork BBQ and BLT were both really good! The fries were greasy in a good, flavorful way (and would be great boardwalk fries with vinegar!!)

We were here with large group. The waitress was excellent. Tha harvard beets were just ok, and the cranberry salad was really tart.

We went on mother's day and EVERYTHING on buffet was absolutely cold, no lids to hold heat for food, two times we went up to buffet and seen two plates was dirty and not washed! We waited in front of the sign that says please wait to be seated in front of 5 employees and for 20 minutes. All kinds of tables was available. The lady finally came up and said are you waiting to be seated? I wanted to say yeah 20 minutes and 5 feet in front of all of you just talking and laughing. The buffet was $28 a person for extremely cold food. I don't normally leave bad reviews but this was horrible!!! Don't waste your time and money.

Ok,,,had reservations for Easter,got seated guikly. It went down hill from there. Food on the buffet,,, vegetable,s was soggy,,hush puppies was way,way overcooked, Chicken gravy was nasty,,, gloppy off the ladle onto the stuffing. And shrimp was overcooked also. Dessert was nothing to great either. Waitress staff was so-so. Atmosphere could here other patrons complaining of cold food.

This place has AMAZING service. I spilled a drink and they were really really nice about it. The food tased amazing and the Mac and cheese is so good. I would definitely return 1000 times

Waitress was rude no class put sugar in the food where dose not belong food below average I was in a hurry my mistake do not eat there customer service sucks I will post again
