Ordered take out, just a dozen wings, fries and a cheesesteak. Took almost 2 hours to receive delivery even though we live less than a 10 minute drive.

Their toasted subs are amazing especially the Italian (pictured). We had regular fries (pictured), but whether you get the regular or fresh cut fries they are both very good. The pizza is different from the norm but very good. The crust has a good buttery / oily flavor. Hot Z has fresh quality food. I can’t wait to go back and try more items . They are a well known local establishment that’s been around a long time.

IMO the best pizza to get in Lancaster county! The people are great, the food is tasty, I’ve been coming here for a long time and a long time more I shall come hahaha. Sad they closed their location closer to my house but it’s ok!! Glad this one is still around

I usually do leave reviews — not for every bad experience, but when something genuinely stands out, I think it’s worth sharing.
Last night, shortly before closing, I placed a pickup order at the Landisville Hot Z Pizza. I hadn’t been there in a while, but it used to be one of my favorite spots, so I figured I’d give it another shot.
When I called, the person answered with a quick “Is this for pickup or delivery?” — which is fine. But as I gave my order, her tone felt rushed and a bit impatient, like she didn’t really want to be dealing with it. It wasn’t super rude, but it definitely didn’t feel welcoming either.
When I arrived, she was still on the phone with another customer. As she finished the call, I could hear her huffing and puffing — like she was clearly annoyed or frustrated. Then she walked over to the register, looked at me, and said “Can I help you?” in the same kind of dry, moody tone. No eye contact, no smile, no greeting — just straight to the point, with zero warmth.
I had planned to grab a drink too, but honestly, the way she was acting made me want to just get my food and leave. She handed me my sub and fries in a to-go bag, and that was it — no “your order’s ready,” no “have a good night,” nothing.
The food was fine, but the attitude really threw off the experience. Customer service matters — especially at the counter — and unfortunately, it missed the mark this time.
I’m hoping this was just an off day for the employee, but as my first time back in a while, it definitely left the wrong impression.
Good food and the owners care about the customers and employees.

While some of the food has good taste, I can't over look the fact that they have a roach problem. I ordered a club sub and when I bit into it, I see something moving. I immediately opened the sandwich to inspect it and found 2 baby roaches in my sub.
