Jake's has quite a creative as well as a traditional menu. I have eaten here several times and on each occasion walked away with a full belly and a smile on my face. Having the opportunity to speak with the chef on my last visit, I learned of the true talent and passion behind the scenes. If I lived closer, I would be visiting more frequently. Although I am looking forward to returning again soon!

Three years later been back for breakfast many times. Just had a Carnitas rice breakfast bowl that rocked. Great little place with locally sourced ingredients and a continuously changing creative menu.

After traveling a long distance, we decided to stop here based on the reviews. Unfortunately, we were not able to be seated for over 15 mins when I witnessed there were over four (4) tables empty. The two (2) young ladies at the counter ignored our presence and began to take a seated customer order. Another seated guest looked at me and apologized for their rudeness. Perhaps it was a good thing that we avoided this experience all together. Not likely to return.

I'm a picky eater - a good cook myself, most things "just taste better at home". Especially for breakfast or brunch foods. Let me tell you this, Jake's is an ace in the deck! It's apparent that he focuses on quality ingredients and prepares with care. All the dishes I've enjoyed there have such good energy and I feel nourished after visiting - my favorite, and only, local gem. Keep up the good work!!!

Had to request drink refills. Service was friendly just not efficient. We will be back. Because the food was very good.
