Nice waitress, food could be better but it's definitely comfort food. The food was really greasy though and didn't sit well with me. Could use improvement. My family enjoyed the burgers though! The fries were really good too.

So so good! We were heading back towards Pittsburgh from Erie when our younger two woke up right after passing the exit before that had a Sheetz. We stopped here as it was all there was and they were hangry. The food was so good! I haven’t had a homemade meal like that in years! Everything from the applesauce, veggies, even the ice-cream is homemade and the prices extremely reasonable. I definitely recommend stopping in as it is the perfect halfway stop. We definitely will make it our planned meal for future visits.

Got the mushroom Swiss burger. Onions were nicely carmelized and burger had a good sear but not over cooked. Fries were hand cut and right out of the fryer when I got them still shining from the fresh oil and crispy. Very basic menu but you can tell they care about food quality here and everything is the best version of what you’d expect from a country lunch place.

Even after adding bacon to my burger, getting an ice tea, adding the fries and 25% tip my check was only $13, what I’d spend at a fast food place for inferior food. If I’m ever passing through sandy lake at lunchtime again I’ll def be back.

First time trying this place out. Was very impressed! Waitress was very kind and on top of everything. Didn't have to wait long for my meal. I got a cheeseburger and fries. The fries were mind blowing and the burger was cooked perfectly.

Wow! We just ate the best boneless wings we have ever tried. My husband had never had the lickers and now he is a true believer. Adam's sauce is also a new favorite. They could sell these sauces. Not only was the food outstanding, but the prices were really reasonable. Our new favorite PA restaurant.
