Best little pizza shop around! They had a shop in oil city for years that my wife grew up on and this one (the original) survived and does not disappoint. Owners are great, friendly, and serve to please. If you go be sure to have cash or check cuz they don't accept cards...

Had Tobey's for the first time last night, everything was great! Got a pepperoni mushroom pizza and a meat lovers for the family. They only take cash, which is great for the local economy!

Driven past Tobey's countless times, finally decided to stop and try it. Overall the pizza was good. I got a Station Square size pizza with pepperoni and a small cheese pizza. Both pizzas came with a generous portion of cheese, no need to order extra cheese. The crust was nothing special, but still good. The only real critique I would make was the sauce had a slight spaghetti-o flavor. But, from what I can tell Tobey's has been around for awhile so maybe the sauce flavor is a local taste preference. If that's the case then I totally get it. For sure I'll be back again and would encourage others to try it.
Prior to writing this review I did read through the past reviews and wanted to address some of the lame complaints. First off, yes they only take cash. I also didn't realize that but DIRECTLY across the street is a bank with a 24 ATM, plus less then a block away is a gas station with an ATM and you can get cash back on purchases. Secondly, the pizza did not taste like cardboard. That's such a lame cliche thing to say about pizza. Lastly, the people working there where not going to win congeniality awards but they were perfectly friendly. When I stopped in I was coming from work and was totally covered with sweat, dirt, and grease. I'm sure I was off putting to the older gray haired lady behind the counter but she was still friendly.

Bland cardboard like crust. Sauce and toppings very obviously coming from cans and bags. Pizza itself was just cooked enough to be considered legally done. Think pizza made by someone who doesn't eat pizza. Honestly my kids and I would rather eat Little Ceasars. The silver haired gentleman behind the counter as about as dismissive as a person could be and not be overtly rude. We won't be back.
The worker was nice. I tried a steak sub and it def wasn't steak it seemed like roast. It was dry and wasn't that great. Will have to try again if I make it out there

They have the best steak hoagie! It's worth the drive! Wish they had one still in Oil City. We like to get one and park over at Lake Wilhelm and enjoy the scenery while we eat.
