Very nice local family owned establishment. The atmosphere is calm, cheerful, quiet (no bar fights), and laid back. Restrooms, kitchen, dining areas and bar area are very clean. Bartenders are friendly, observant and professional. Not a yuppy bar at all. More a down home, back yard country gathering place. Customers are friendly and respectful of each other. They offer karaoke Friday nights and a DJ comes in I believe every Saturday night (I might have that backwards). I feel very at home here and I'm comfortable going in alone without being harrased and I feel safe when leaving. I do not recommend bringing anyone under 21. I don't see families come in here. Although I'm sure everything would be fine, it's just they really aren't catering to families right now.
