For the last five-plus years I have gone to Bauman's to get apples for our church's apple dumpling sale. Their price is really low compared to grocery stores, and the apples are good, although you may need to pick through a few bad ones. This year we were there later in the season, and they seemed to not have as many varieties to choose from as normal, but I think that's more based on what the grower brings in. All their specialty butters are outstanding. Try the sweet tomato butter. Its great on an English muffin or if you top your meatloaf with it you'll never go back to ketchup again. Great cider as well. Nice people.

My favorite was the pear butter, the jar of which is now empty and I pretty much just had a spoonful here and there for a treat. It was absolutely delicious.
