Dutch Way Family Restaurant - Schaefferstown

I would not recommend shopping at the Ephrata store. I was unaware you had to enter your phone # in a kiosk to receive the special discounts on sale items. The cashier did not mention it. It was a lot of hassle receiving my refund when I asked about it and one of the items was still charged incorrectly. After pointing it out it was like pulling teeth to get the correct advertised discount. I have a feeling people are not being charged correctly but without checking your receipt you wouldn’t know. As I was leaving the store another customer was headed to the desk with the same issue. Overcharged on a sale item. If you are going to continue shopping there CHECK your pricing!

Stopped in for a very quick dinner returning from a scout camping trip at Hawk Mountain. Average food and average prices. Nothing really exciting about eating there. Would recommend driving on and looking for something more notable honestly.

Can’t say anything good about this particular Dutch-Way Restaurant. Lazy unfocused cold disinterested staff. Lot of playful banter and sitting around while customers wait for menus, seating and rather tasteless food. Just a bad atmosphere that needs an overhaul by ownership. We won’t come back

Breakfast on Sat at the Schaefferstown location. Waited over a hour for our food. And it was the worse meal we have ever had. 32.00 with tip for what was the worst dining experience we have ever had. The entire restaurant was complaining about food and wait time.

I must say I like that store a lot . the soups are good as well as the other stuff . .but when ever I go there to get something from the meat counter there is never anyone out to help u get something.its really disappointing .

Do not waste your time or money. Food quality is poor and expensive for the portion sizes. Our food came out cold and we sent it back. When it came back out is was just as cold as when we sent back.

Friendly service and cozy facility.

Service was super friendly, The chicken croquettes and mashed were just like mom. used to make delicious. Hubby got a burger said it had fantastic seasoning and flavor. The desserts definitely fresh and homeade also delicious.

Convenient and close to home. Food is getting very expensive for small portion size. Often running out of menu and special items. Found paper in soup on a couple of occasions.

Great French fries

Drove from Carlisle to Lancaster just to eat breakfast at this restaurant. I think it's the best food in Lancaster.

Latest post about fireworks and celebrating Memorial Day was inaccurate and insensitive . They don’t have a clue about the holiday and are using it to promote the sale fireworks! Unbelievable.
