Wow, what a great meal and unexpected! We went out to Skippack without a plan and happened upon this place, mainly because it had seating available. Not expecting much we ordered. Fortunately we had anticipated BYOB and had beer and wine with us. I had the Camaron Al A Veracruzana and it was absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. The shrimp were big and perfectly cooked. Wife had Pollo Margharita which was awesome too. We will be back!

Came in here early on a Saturday eveming with the family, and we all wanted to like this restaurant, but unfortunately we just didn't. The portion sizes were decent, our server was polite, and I did enjoy the rice and the mole sauce, but we were underwhelmed by our meals otherwise, to the point much of it was picked over and uneaten. The server mentioned they used mozzarella cheese on one of the dishes, which I thought odd for a Mexican style restaurant. Fairly certain I heard a microwave from the open kitchen area, make of that what you will. I don't foresee us returning.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant. Attentive service and flavorful food in good quantities. The vaulted ceiling and decor give a very pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend the tres leche. Deserves every star.

My husband and I are fortunate to live in the Skippack area and so close to Mexican fine dining at its best. The hospitality, warmth, and delicious food at Carisma are second to none. We bring our own margaritas and let the wonderful family who runs this restaurant supply the rest. Appetizers, entrees, and desserts are simply the best whether served inside this beautiful restaurant or on the lovely patio in warmer weather.

We stopped at Carisma for lunch while shopping in Skippack. It was the last day to eat indoors before the shutdown of restaurants over the holidays due to COVID. The atmosphere was great, the decorations were out of this world. Small details in every corner of the place. Mexican music playing. I had the beef tacos, my husband had the burrito. He said it was probably the best burrito he has ever had, which means a lot, because one month ago we were just in Mexico! We are not from the area, but when we return we would definitely choose Carisma again.
I come here every week and the food here is exceptional! Thank you Aguilar family!

Have visited twice. Excellent restaurant. Lovely ambiance for a quiet dinner. Food was delicious both times. Best guacamole I've had outside of Mexico. Fresh ingredients and wonderfully prepared. Highly recommend and plan to return again and again! A true gem in Skippack.

This family run restaurant has been one our favorite places in Skippack, PA. The food here is made to order and never disappoints. Daniela and her mother run it now and they have managed to keep it open despite the pandemic. They have expanded seating capacity indoors for the winter. It is a BYOB. The chips are awesome and don’t forget to order the fresh made guacamole. Plenty of vegetarian options or they can tweak any dish on the menu.
