The food is very good but they have a 3.5% surcharge on debit card payments. The surcharge violates federal law and their merchant credit card agreement. Visa customer service told me that I could refuse to pay the debit card surcharge and that I should have the business call them to verify this right. When I did that they refused to call Visa but they called the police and asked me not to return. I reported these events to Visa and they said that they would investigate.
This feels like the kind of diner every local grandpa meets his buddies. Good food. Good prices. The fair is pretty standard, nothing fancy, but well prepared. All in all it's pretty much what you'd want from a small local diner.
