I drive here to grocery shop most of the time just to avoid going to the Cranberry location which absolutely sucks. This location, while a bit further, is 10000% better for a list of reasons. 1. The service is good. The employees are all actually working! One of the bakery workers kindly showed me how to use the bread slicer, the man who makes that delicious sushi is always so sweet and offers my son lollipops, those working the deli counter are eager to take customers' orders, the customer service representatives are always quick to adjust when things ring up incorrectly. 2. The food selection is abundant and fresh, they carry the items I need and some items I didn't know I needed. 3. The environment is clean, accessible, and easy to navigate. Also, they accept WIC here unlike the Cranberry location! 4. A liquor store is attached - very convenient around the holidays! 5. Parking lot is infinitely better than the Cranberry location aaaaaand includes expectant mothers and mothers with newborns parking spots - a definite plus!! 6. Starbucks attached which is nice to have the option to visit after you've gone through the madness that is grocery shopping.

So can I just say that in these times where everything has been difficult & there is such a shortage of workers, Giant Eagle Curbside at Seven Fields has gone over & above. Thank you!

This is my go-to grocery store for the duration of my time living in the area. It’s always very clean, and mostly has stock of the things I’m looking to buy (especially my diet specific products). The reason for my positive review is not for this reason though (although it should be definitely taken into account). My main reason for leaving this review is for a cake I had ordered at their bakery! They were so incredibly kind to let me place an order the night before pickup, and also fulfilled my odd-ish request better than I could have ever imagined! In addition to its craftsmanship, it was also soooooo delicious Thank you a million times!

I love my Giant Eagle! You would be hard pressed to find an employee not willing to help you. I have been shopping here for 6 years with no major complaints. It's our little country store where everyone is friendly!

Of all the Giant Eagles in the area, this is the one I actively avoid for several reasons. First and most importantly, the parking lot just isn't safe. It has very tight quarters. People tend to zoom in and out of here. I've had some very unfortunate curbside express transactions here, but the most important thing to note is that they're in-stock rate is horrible. It seems that every order I place at least half the items are out of stock, especially the items on sale. This is true whether or not a pandemic is going on.

I shop here only when I’m in a pinch because I live so close because of the high prices. I went in there today to purchase just a couple of items I needed and stopped to look at the outdoor plants. One of the employees came over to where I was standing, someone had layered plants on cardboard and the cardboard got wet and they were sagging, he said excuse me but I have to clean this “F-ing” stuff up and and then he proceeded to tell me who in the “F”would put them on cardboard. It’s one thing to have an irate employee, it’s another thing to use the F word in front of a customer multiple times. Your store needs to clean up who they hire! That’s not ok

Great job to the man that handled my covid-19 vaccine.

I work as a Lot Attendant at this Giant Eagle now. It isn't perfect and there are things I think the management and staff could improve on. I don't want to do this forever, but it is a good starting job. Most of the employees I have worked with at this store are nice and laid back. I would like to look for other opportunities at either this store or another Giant Eagle store in the future.

Cashier had her nose hanging out of her mask while touching my food yet they are telling customers not wearing masks to leave. Maybe do a training on how to properly wear them.

As far as large regional grocery store chains go, Giant Eagle is fine. I've never had a customer service issue or significant issue, apart from one lost item by their dry cleaning contractor, over years of visiting their Market District and the brand locations like this one. Staff is friendly and helpful, though as I'll describe in a moment, I manage to avoid them anyway. This location is the smaller of the two in the Cranberry area, with a scaled back selection to match. Produce is notably more limited, and some more unusual items are missing from the shelves (and one popular item -quite often fresh thyme herbs have gone AWOL). But, this location is also usually less crowded. Balancing that is the parking lot which could have a more convenient layout. The deli here often has a longer wait than other GE/MD locations. I'm about equal distance from this location and the Cranberry one, so why come here? One reason - the Scan, Pay & Go system. This is their mobile self-checkout system where you can use your smartphone or one of their hand scanners to scan your items as you shop. You scan a bar code on the way out the door, wave a phone for payment, and you're done. I don't even need to bring a wallet. And if you don't feel like talking to anyone, you don't have to. And even if you walk out with a heaping cartful of items, you won't feel the anxiety of blocking the self-checkout lane with all your stuff. The location is clean. In-store prepped foods and premades are on point. Breads and daily items are stocked up in the morning and top items like milk and yogurts are restocked throughout the day. I've had to ask for something (not thyme) maybe once in a couple of years. Good local grocery. Split our dollars between this location, Costco, and Fresh Thyme in Cranberry and the Whole Foods in Wexford. Due to the Scan Pay & Go system, I find this one to be the most pleasant shopping experience.

Giant Eagle is the only place to shop and this is one of the best! I am so grateful to be cutting meat here!

Poor customer service at the pharmacy! I went to drop off my prescription at the pharmacy and the tech was extremely judge mental and rude. Also they had to call my doctor for verification (totally understand). I spoke with my doctors office and they never called. Talk about LAZY! My husband then went into to grab my medication for me and the same clerk was rude and shoved him out the door without answering any of our questions.

*For the dry cleaners department only* Absolutely no longer using their in-house dry cleaners! My white tuxedo shirt came back (from a laundry cycle) with blue stains on it, poorly pressed, and with dark colored lint all over it! It's clear that there is no sorting of any kind so if you have light colors, delicate fabrics etc....beware! It's bad enough that laundry runs ~$3 per item and dry cleaning ~$7 per item (whereas in other cities its ~$2.50 for any item) but you really don't get what you pay for here.

I got a cake for my birthday here while visiting the city here. The lady in the bakery was sooo nice and friendly!! She gave me 2 cakes and decorated it sooo pretty. I told her to just do something pretty on the cakes , and she kept my involved with the decisions even though I told her to make it up. Then she offered me a cookie! She was great at her job and very knowledgeable. I felt bad for her because she was the only one back there and she had a line with about 10 people and she still took her time on each of us without "taking her time". She was very efficient in keeping everyone happy while we all waited. Thanks! She deserves a raise! An older lady but I don't have her name.
