The Valley Tavern provides good regional food and drink in a 19th-century building. In fact, I enjoyed seeing several photos on the walls from "back in the day." The Tavern has both a busy bar section as well as a bight and comfortable dining room. The server expertly managed both sides of the operation. When I asked about beer on tap, she suggested the Perpetual IPA, which was the perfect start. The Maryland style crab soup was loaded with vegetables. My fried oyster...
My brother-in-law loves this place so we gave it a try for dinner. Very clean, a relatively large selection, and reasonable prices…the perfect combo. The portions are good size and taste really good. Maybe not the place you go for Mother’s Day but good old comfort bar food. Definitely worth checking out!
Just started going here about 6 months or so ago & only stop in once in awhile but always feel welcomed, nice lil local bar & we were so happy to see Sherry there (know her from another bar, making myself sound like lush lol) We absolutely love her. This place always has the coldest beer!
