We came to this outpost in search of a delicious dinner, which we got with some friends. There used to be three of these outposts, but now there are two. It ended up pouring, so it was fortunate that they did not open the outdoor patio because the weather reports said it might rain. Instead, we were sat inside. Our server was excellent; she was informed about the menu and visited us occasionally enough to avoid making us feel ignored but not too frequently. The ambiance was pleasant and the food was superb. Although it is somewhat pricy, the quality of the meal more than makes up for it.

I made reservations and told them it was our anniversary. When we showed up and asked to be seated outside, we were told by the 12 year old girl at the desk NO, sorry, you needed to request that with your reservation. That wasn’t even an option when making reservations. We were seated in an empty restaurant, in a dingy corner by a back door and a coat rack. It took forever for a server to come over and I’m still wondering if they had any specials and how you get the bread that everyone else had. We always get the filet/crab cake, apparently they don’t have that anymore. The food and wine were delicious, but after coming here for over 15 years, I think we’re going to pass from now on. It has definitely lost the personal touch and you don’t even receive the bare minimum any more.

We had a 65th birthday gathering at lunch at Andora with 12 family members, including 2 small children. The wait staff were so patient, attentive, and accommodating. Appetizers, including calamari, shrimp, and eggplant, were delicious. Entrees ranged from the Pittsburgh salad, with steak and french fries, to chicken, to their wonderful crab cakes -all delicious. We had our own private room, which was perfect for adults and kids. A great pace to gather for special occasions!

Service by our waiter was okay. Weirdly enough It seems like none of the other help staff was allowed to take requests, a staff member was REALLY unsure if he was allowed to go get some dressing that was missed.
I heard a few people comment that their risotto or pilaf was significantly colder while the rest of the dish (like the meat or veggies) was hot enough.
The food overall was okay for the most part with one notable exception:
My daughter got the chicken tenders. After she refused to eat them, I tried a few bites. I do not recommend them, more breading than chicken, breading was dry and burnt. I haven't ever had chicken tenders quite like this before. Someone needs to consider taking that one back to the drawing board.

We were visiting family and did some shopping in the area. We loved this little gem north of Pittsburgh. Great back patio, great food, drinks, wine. Highly would recommend for a laid back easy place to grab lunch or dinner. My wife loved the steak salad, Kona pork sandwich was great, crab cakes were awesome. Def would recommend and would come again!
