Basic American cuisine without any flair. It's like what you'd get if you ate dinner at the home of the person who ran the school cafeteria. Do yourself a favor, cook at home and save money.

Andora has a pleasant atmosphere and helpful wait staff. My meal was tasty but really was just a bowl of pasta w/ a little chicken thrown in. If one wants any kind of balanced meal - veg, protein, & starch - you will not find it anywhere on this menu. I left disappointed & not particularly wishing to go back.

we hadnt been here in a while so we decided with a couple friends to check it out again as we are always looking for decent places to have a nice dinner. it took a while for a server to come to the table and seemed confused when we were ordering as to what we wanted. she rarely stopped by to see if we needed anything and we had to ask the busser several times when we needed something including refills. we ordered the calamari app and it was not even edible. undercooked and so rubbery i almost choked on it. would not recommend this at all. out of the 4 dinners only one was decent. the BBQ short rib however, it wasnt BBQ'd and it looked more like a piece of chuck roast than a short rib. it was tasty but not enough sauce leaving the meat dry. the mashed potatoes needed a knife to cut them not creamy at all. not sure what they did to mess these up. two of us had the walleye special. very bland and the lemon buer blanc sauce was broken. the other entre was a special surf and turf with a filet (cooked properly to MR and very tender) along with a tasteless crab cake. we probably wont be back as the value was just not there along with the service. note that is was not busy that night and should not have been any reason for that.

My husband surprised me with an impromptu date night, and this restaurant fit the bill perfectly. They were very accommodating despite us not having a reservation. We chose to sit on the back patio; this was a wonderful choice for a warm spring evening. We were so pleased that they were open since many restaurants are closed on Mondays and they were quite busy. Our meal was delicious and the service was very good. We would absolutely recommend the pork ribeye and the Caribbean jerk cod. Both were perfectly seasoned and cooked.

Just okay. Soup was okay. Service was great. Place looks run down. Bathroom was dirty. Not customer dirty, dirty as in not cleaned properly for some time. Too bad. The patio section is great!

We ordered a beet salad, chopped salad, sole and Scallops and Shrimp. The beet salad was excellent. The portions of scallops, shrimp and sole were perfect. They were served piping hot and tasted great. We were more than pleased with our meals. The only minor criticism I have is the lettuce in the chopped salad was a little wilted. We ordered chocolate mousse cake and it was excellent. Service was very good. We will return again when visiting friends in the area.

We went on a Friday for a late lunch. We wanted to sit on the patio, where many of the tables were occupied. We were seated in direct sunlight, but did not request another table. There was confusion about which server was waiting on us. Our server was not attentive to our needs. Would give her a D-. We both ordered the sirloin tips salad. I would consider it the best steak salad that I have ever had, although they skimp on the dressing. I will definitely go back and will order the steak salad again, but will request extra dressing. A+ on the salad.

Consistent quality and great service. Food, cocktails, and outdoor patio seating are reasons to give this place a try. I've never had a bad meal or experience at Andora.

Very nice, busy, local restaurant. Very nice inside. Quite large once you enter. Has a big bar area and also outdoor seating. Probably best to make reservations. Menu is a bit limited and a bit on the pricey side. Ordered grilled cheese for two children… and it was HUGE! They loved it…not your boring grilled cheese at all. I forget what I had but it was very good. I would eat here again. Parking was plentiful.

i’ve been eating Adora for quite a while usually love the place because tasty food well prepared and equally important well presented food. however it seems things seem to be going downhill as today the crabcakes looked like they were dropped on the floor broken apart not appealing at all the asparagus were wilted looked like they were leftovers from last night. at 40+ dollars for two crabcakes you would think they would be presentable. to be fair they tasted OK but again they tasted better before. The calamari were rubbery. I may have to wait a while before coming back to see if they get their act together or they’re just taking advantage of people who are eager to come back after the pandemic.

My husband ordered a fillet and it was so over cooked that the waitress insisted that he get a new one, so he did!! At least 20 minutes later he received his second fillet and it was just as bad as the first one!!! They charge $36 for a steak and don't know how to cook it!!!! Waitress was very nice and of course took it off of the bill. The manager ( if there was one ) never stopped by our table!!

Very recently my wife and I met friends on a mid-week evening at Andora's. As you can tell from the title of the review, the evening had it's pluses and minuses. Let's start withe the good. Andora's has a lovely, large open air garden area, perfect in this Covid age dining. On a nice Summer's night, it's really very nice. I also really liked their appetizers. Each of the 3 couples ordered an appetizer to share. We ordered the Dynamite Shrimp which came with rice noodles. Although it frankjly was not as good as Bone Fish Grill's dynamite shrimp, it was still very good, but a bit pricey at $14.90. For entrees, my wife ordered Lobster Pasta at $29.90 and I ordered the Crab Salad at $19.90. Dishes like these I compare, similar to the Dynamite Shrimp, to other local establishments. The lobster pasta was average at best, as it lacked flavor, with too much sauce, and did not compare favorably to other similar dishes she's had. The crab salad was a total disappointment. The "crab" portion of the salad was essentially a bready scoop of crab on the side of the plate. Now to the service, which was slow and uneven at best. Before ordering drinks, a basket of bread was brought to the table. Since it was a hot evening, I was hoping to order an iced drink such as a Frozen Margarita or Pina Colada, but apparently their ice making equiptment for those drinks was not operational, so I ordered a Tanqueray & Tonic at $7.25 and my wife ordered a very average Riesling at $11.00. After a good 10-15 minute wait the drinks arrived. The waitress, who was very pleasant, asked if we wanted another basket of bread. We said yes. It never arrived. Same was true with another round of waters, since she never asked if we wanted another drink. They never arrived, until we asked again, and she brought them with our final bills. All evening long the service was very slow, although truthfully we didn't have any place to go. So, to recap, the atmosphere and apps were very good, entrees were mediocre and service, while friendly was slow and somewhat confused. In this Covid era age, it's hard to justify $90.00 for the above as a great value.

Very disappointed. Hard to find the beets in a $8.90 salad. Confirm your order at least twice. . . The main course was satisfactory.

We were there with family following a burial at a local cemetery. We were quickly seated outside under an umbrella. The food ran from a kids pizza ti a Kona pork ribeye. It was all pretty good. The service was good - Katie C.

We often go to the Andorra’s in Fox Chapel and love it- and the atmosphere is friendly a nice. We were in the Sewickley area- were in the mood for zucchini rolls, so we stopped at the sewickley location. Big mistake! It was 5pm, restaurant was half empty, except for the bar area, which was full. We only had an hour, just wanted a glass of wine and the zucchini. As the restaurant was mostly empty we asked if we could have a table. They said NO- that unless we were eating an entree we couldn’t have a seat- the hostess than preceded to say “ entree are pricey”- you probably want to go somewhere else. What????? We let her know that paying wasn’t an issue- and that we found this offensive. As we were having this discussion another hostess -who heard the hole interchange and -also told us we couldn’t have a table). Hopefully there just rude and that the motivation for this treatment was not race related. Suggestion- stick to another location.
