Visited Vivo for the first time yesterday, and I have mixed feelings about this place. The atmosphere is great - small, but roomy enough, and great for a smaller group (2-4 people). Decent wine and spirits selection. The food was good, but not great - particularly for the price point compared to quality. My main criticism is that we felt quite rushed by service. I made a reservation for 5:45 PM with a friend, and an employee interrupted our conversation to tell us to leave our table at 7:15 PM (after being very obvious for 15 minutes prior to that by taking away anything that wasn’t physically in our hands) because “another reservation had arrived and they needed the table.” We left as to respect the other diners and the wishes of the restaurant - however, if there is a time limit on your table, this really is something that should be communicated in the reservation so that customers can plan accordingly. Unsure if they double-booked or if they took too many reservations than they could manage that evening, but I read other reviews indicating similar experiences. It was definitely awkward and made us feel unwelcome. Vivo certainly has its place in the Village, but I’d recommend planning a short stay if heading there - or going elsewhere if you are anticipating/desiring a longer outing.

Vivo always delivers an outstanding experience. The menu is limited, focused, and impossible to categorize. We often share a few items from the appetizer section, but also have some of the entrees, which feature, in addition to great food, reasonable portions (like in Europe). It's our favorite place.

This is one of my all time favorite restaurants! The service is over-the-top amazing and the food is fresh, seasoned well and DELICIOUS!! Do yourself a favor, make a reservation at Vivo's.

Beautiful space and everything we had was delicious. Can’t wait to return in warmer months to try the patio!

I arrived after the kitchen had closed, unfortunately, but I did stay for 2.glasses of wine. I loved the quaint bar and the intimate atmosphere. The wine list was extensive and the quality was superior. I look forward to being able to dine here next.

The food was absolutely delightful, with a rotating menu of what you can clearly tell is made-from-fresh dishes. My first taste of Escargot was lovely and parmesan- encrusted, I ordered a mid-rare Lambchop that melted in my mouth, Panna cotta so rich I found myself licking my spoon and downing a cool glass of ice water to cleanse the palate.Interior is a bit small, so it can be crowd loud during peak dinner time, but the dim lighting and chill atmosphere is nice, though I was overestimated at the beginning due to so much background chatter.Service was phenomenal (thank you Kasey (sry if I spelt it wrong)) and wine was delicious (I had the rosé).Overall it was a remarkable dinner, and I would love to dine in again!Vegetarian options: There was at least one veggie main course and at least one veggie appetizer clearly marked on the menu.

I enjoy the consistency of the kitchen. The menu has some excellent mainstay dishes as well as some seasonal offerings. The Bristol scallops are an easy go-to option for me, and last night they did not disappoint! The special appetizer was the braised beef short ribs which were cooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection. I love the suburban location, too. It sure beats having to drive into the city on a weeknight for dinner.

First time and was not disappointed. Corey and the team was a pleasure and the food was great! Definitely worth the drive from Cranberry Twp and we will be visiting again soon. Thanks Vivo!

I'm not vegetarian but I do like to have veggie dishes when I dine out. So I tend not to prioritize this place since the menu is more meat-focused. But the veggie sides we had this week were outstanding. The spaghetti squash was perfectly prepared with great flavor and texture. And the braised cabbage was mind blowing. Who knew cabbage could be elevated like that?!

We love this restaurant and have been there several times. Unfortunately, this was not our best experience. Although, the food was still good our service was below average. Our waiter was rushing us through the entire meal (8:45 pm reservation) and at the end practically pushed us out the door even though there was another table occupied and a few people at the bar. It was 10:20 pm when we walked out of the restaurant. We have had this waiter before so we will make assume he was just having a bad night. We will be back because it is a great restaurant.

This neighborhood gem is a destination for many far afield Sewickley. Sam Owner/Chef) has been delighting his diners, many of whom become friends, for years. This family run restaurant involves Sam's wife, Laurie and his daughter, Martina. Together and with several long time members of their staff, they provide an atmosphere where dining is delicious, friendly, and fun.

Bar tender was very good. Server was great. Table was ready when promised. It was very busy but we were very well taken care of. Food was excellent! Not one negative thing about the evening.

Everything about this restaurant was just perfect. They were able to accommodate our time change with grace while working to fit us in. Service was very professional. Menu is small but we all found things we wanted. Cuisine was imaginative and cooked perfectly. Drinks were good and pricing was moderate. We would go back anytime.
