I ordered the Nashville fried chicken on brioche bun and it was delicious. The waitresses were very nice and I liked the historic small town feel. Great place to stop on a road trip back to DC.

Just left. Literally had to leave it was that bad. First it took a while to even seat us. Once we did we waited a bit for a waitress to come over, but she brought waters instead of just coming over to ask what we’d like. We asked if we could order soda too. In the time it took her to get the sodas, we had some terribly behaved child acting ridiculous in the booth behind us. Constantly shaking the Christmas bell decorations, banging silverware and flat out screaming. Another family near us with 2 litte girls running around carrying on. It felt like we were at a daycare with poor service that took that long that we had the option to leave. Just as we were leaving, she brought our sodas. We asked if we could pay for them and go. She said “yes, let me ring them out for you”. She disappeared. Never came back. We waited 10 highly agitating minutes so we could pay her and she was nowhere to be found, not even at the register! Probably knew we’d end up leaving cash on the table if she waited long enough and just wanted to pocket the money. We left $7. If this wasn’t enough for 2 sodas, please email me. But not having your drinks on the menu or a waitress that came back, we had no idea and weren’t going to continue sitting in that place.

Had a lovely late lunch. Service was wonderful! Meatloaf sandwich perfect! Coconut cream pie for dessert. Highly recommend!

The ladies were very sweet but the service was terrible. I took over 40min just to get my food. When the food came out it was stale & flavorless!! They basically gave me a whole potato and called it home fries with no salt

My entire search was a place with real food and we found it! I had the Mac n cheese dinner with stewed tomatoes and crispy brussel sprouts as a side for my meal. Delicious, comforting, also healthy at the same time. I also had 2 different soups that had a lovely variety of fresh vegetables inside. The flavors of my meal overall were wholesome, natural, comforting and exactly what I was looking for. I believe this is the only place that offers stewed tomatoes with the Mac bonus points by the way! Having brussel sprouts as a side is incredible! I did notice they do have other fresh made sides! I’m glad to see a local business adding more natural foods and fresh vegetables to the menu! If you’re someone looking for a REAL meal with REAL food. This is the place for you.

We reserved a table for 6 o'clock.
This was a Friday night and there were 3 other tables with people sitting.
We waited 45 minutes for our food.
The server seemed more intent on writing a book. Every time you wanted something he was writing in a book.
There were no apologies for the long wait for our food.
The food was very good, it was enjoyed by all.
Although dessert was delicious, we were still irritated about waiting for our dinner.
We will try this place again, but hopefully not as long of a wait.

The most quaint little restaurant we've been to in a long time. The service, food everything was phenomenal. Portions are big but not the price. Highly recommended.

Fruit French Toast was amazing. Cheese steak was great. Worth the trip.
