Ordered fish and chips and sorry to say but it was terrible. The fish was all breading and the fries for fresh cut weren’t good either. Very disappointing at that price

Service was great! The pretzel and homemade dipping sauces are among the best I have ever had! The burger was good, their idea of medium was more like my idea of medium rare but it was still good. Absolutely beautiful inside!

Stopped in late after a rainy outing. Fantastic food! We enjoyed the spinach gnocchi, beer battered fish, and the mahi mahi special. We live out of the area but would certainly drive the 1.5 hrs to eat here again.

Im sure there are a bunch of you that would not even think twice about going to Shamokine, but you would be doing yourself a diservice. The Heritage restaurant has fantastic food and the duck fat french fries are an absolute must have! Their food is absolutely top notch. You can't go wrong with anything there.

Heritage Restaurant came highly recommended by Matt at Coal Region Winery, and wow...what a find! The cocktails were spot on, and the food was next-level. Right here in Shamokin, PA. The duck fat fries with feta were a standout and truly the best feta I’ve had in the U.S., bringing me right back to Greece.
Heritage nails the trifecta: incredible food and drinks, fair prices, and top-notch service. Consider me a regular from here on out! It's worth the ride!

Highly recommend trying their duck fries! The owner stopped by not once but twice to see how things were and to ask if he could do anything for us. Nice owner. We gave him a compliment on his food and his waitress.
If you’re in the area definitely stop in and give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again, and we definitely will be back!

I recently visited this restaurant and was unable to be seated due to staffing shortages. While I understand that staffing challenges can happen, it was disappointing to arrive and not be able to enjoy a meal after making the effort to come. Clearer communication in advance, or better planning to accommodate guests, would have made the experience more positive. I hope the restaurant can address these issues, as I was looking forward to dining here.

This is a great place to dine, have some laughs and eat great food. Me and my riding family stopped here after a long ride through PA. It was such a a great experience. There were about 15 of us so we called in advance. We dined outside and had such a a wonderful time. The owner and the staff mingled with us, the food was really good, and I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. We definitely plan on going back.
